Some of this is some [frick]ing weird concept art.
JediSuperGuy83 - 10/15/2013, 4:01 PM
AOS better Refrence Blonsky also I think Rachel Wiesz should Replace Liv Tyler as Betty Ross
TheOneAboveAll - 10/15/2013, 4:02 PM
Looks like a surrealist did the concept art
supermarioworldE - 10/15/2013, 4:05 PM
That one dog looks like spike from "the mask"
JorL5150 - 10/15/2013, 4:08 PM
Ang lees hulk was better than avengers.
Those hulk dogs look scarier than maliketh.
My last bowel movement was more attractive trudy.
TheWolverine08 - 10/15/2013, 4:08 PM
MegatronLP9 - 10/15/2013, 4:09 PM
Haha I was just talking about Eric Bana. This movie is probably the most colorful and weirdest CBM I thought Watchmen was wrird
JorL5150 - 10/15/2013, 4:09 PM
2 of those 3 are true.

(Hint: the one about trudy and the one about the dogs)
TheAmazingSpiderMan47 - 10/15/2013, 4:10 PM
the hulk looked by far his best in the avengers ... lets just stick with that people
TheWolverine08 - 10/15/2013, 4:11 PM
Ang Lee's Hulk better than Avengers? No,
JediSuperGuy83 - 10/15/2013, 4:12 PM
@TheAmazingSpiderMan47 No The Hulk Looked bes in The Incredible Hulk
manofmidgard - 10/15/2013, 4:13 PM
yikes, this is f-ugly artwork.
i really really hate the scaredy-hulk pics. why???
the rat is lame.
the dogs with the giant heads are well-drawn, but its a dumb idea. love the musculature though.
his daddy looks a bit like grendel in the cgi beowulf movie. i don't like it. no sir, not one bit.
ChrispyG - 10/15/2013, 4:14 PM
Hulk 03 is sorely under-rated. It's not the best superhero movie ever by any means, but it was very good.

It was trying to 'take the genre more seriously' years before Nolan perfected the approach with his Batman films. I give Ange Lee credit for trying in a world where the cartoony Raimi Spider-Man films were the gold standard.
Demonluv - 10/15/2013, 4:17 PM
Some of those drawings of Hulk are painfully bad.
SuperCat - 10/15/2013, 4:18 PM
I liked the gamma dogs.

thetrojan - 10/15/2013, 4:20 PM
i think its a great movie too.
it just needs about forty minutes edited from it.
i loved the dog scenes because they reminded me of the hulk comic .
Hulk was always in forests and woods avoiding man and falling out wi animals.
JamesMan - 10/15/2013, 4:24 PM

It is opinionated, to me it's better than the Avengers on a few marks. Hulk being an actual threat, better character development, a better villain, and a better version of Bruce. Avengers just has the better action and better CGI for the Hulk (still doesn't look that good though).

Fornication - 10/15/2013, 4:25 PM
Such a great movie. That's what Hulk is supposed to be. A character focused on the psychological side of Bruce Banner, not a ridiculous comic relief for a Disney movie.

Also, those dogs were scary as [frick] and they still are. Much more creepy than any villain from recent Marvel movies. Nick Nolte did an amazing job in that film as well.
JamesMan - 10/15/2013, 4:27 PM
"A Hulk movie doesn't need humor."

AGREED! It's funny but going back on a lot of the original Hulk comics, there is almost no humor at all. Stan Lee obviously wanted to make Hulk a serious character and I applaud Ang Lee for doing so in his film.
JorL5150 - 10/15/2013, 4:30 PM
My fave hulk will always be bixby/ferrigno- but I like ang lees hulk.

Maybe a little too "heady" for a marvel audience.
RichardHedski - 10/15/2013, 4:33 PM
Shit movie. I remember being very excited for this movie back in 2002-03 and being completely let down by how boring it was. It just dragged and dragged. The only decent part was the Hulk fighting the tanks part. That's it. The rest of the movie is dogshit.
TheWolverine08 - 10/15/2013, 4:35 PM
@JamesMan Eh, there really just isn't much I like Hulk 2003. I get why some may like it, but I really just hate it. While Incredible Hulk from 2008 wasn't perfect, I still enjoyed it much more.
JamesMan - 10/15/2013, 4:42 PM

To each his own.

I feel that's what every Hulk movie has missed. We need a Hulk Goat NOW!
DEATHbyEXILE - 10/15/2013, 4:47 PM
JamesMan - 10/15/2013, 4:50 PM
Not every hero needs to be a damn huckster. Hell, the last Marvel character that should be making jokes is the [frick]ing Hulk. That is where The Avengers failed with the Hulk, they tried to make him funny like Iron Man.
MrReese - 10/15/2013, 4:51 PM
TheRationalNerd - 10/15/2013, 4:54 PM
Suprised Hulk
TheRationalNerd - 10/15/2013, 4:56 PM
Hopefully for the next Hulk sequel we see Doc Samson get the muscles and green hair!

I'd also like to see Hulk go up against either "The Leader" or "Red Hulk and A-Bomb"
TheRationalNerd - 10/15/2013, 5:00 PM
SageMode - 10/15/2013, 5:05 PM
The Hulk and boring should never be in the same sentence. Well, this movie did the impossible.
SageMode - 10/15/2013, 5:08 PM
It was a movie for the whiners who had short attention span and wanted more action. The movie lacked depth and was a CGI mess, and left a bad taste in my mouth."

Hmmm mmm.......that sounds extremely familiar concerning another recently released CBM........
Mike89 - 10/15/2013, 5:09 PM
After repeated viewings, ive come to appreciate this movie a bit more over the years. It may not have been the Hulk movie fans wanted but it wasnt terrible either. I wouldn't mind Ang Lee directing another CBM soon.
JamesMan - 10/15/2013, 5:13 PM
"If you want to make Hulk bankable, you bastardize what he should be and make him like they did in The Incredible Hulk and Avengers. You take away the aspect that he is in fact a monster, you make it look like Bruce Banner is having fun and you add some slapstick so the audience can laugh when he says Hulk SMASH!

However, making him bankable is irrelevant to me. A movie or a character doesn't need to bank a billion for me to say "Yeah, that's dope". Give me the character the creator intended him to be, and Stan Lee intended him to be a character that blurred the lines between being a man and a monster. The fact the inspiration for Hulk is Frankenstein and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde says it all really."

Beautifully put.
CaptainObvious - 10/15/2013, 5:13 PM
@ChrispyG- You call Raimi's Spider-Man cartoony, but you like the Hulk movie where Hulk fights a mutated poodle.

Ang Lee's Hulk was an incredibly pretentious film.
JamesMan - 10/15/2013, 5:16 PM
SageMode just can't keep DC out. You bring it up more than DC fans do.
marvel72 - 10/15/2013, 5:17 PM
hulk had its moments but overall a pretty shitty hulk movie.

best hulk movies

1st the avengers
2nd the incredible hulk
3rd hulk
RichardHedski - 10/15/2013, 5:17 PM
The Incredible Hulk and Ruffalo's Hulk both wiped their big green asses with Ang Lee's depressing mutant French poodle crap!
JoeMomma29 - 10/15/2013, 5:18 PM

That is funny!
TheWolverine08 - 10/15/2013, 5:23 PM
Sage is going there!
