Namely at retailers Target and Kmart, 10-inch electronic action figures have been spotted, courtesy of @Armageddon26. Also revealing Hasbro's packaging, which may tease Tony Stark's new Hall of Armor, check out the Mark 42 and Iron Patriot figures below!

For a comparison to the real deal:

Marvel Studios’ “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man? Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, “Iron Man 3” is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce & Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of “Tales of Suspense” (#39) in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with “The Invincible Iron Man” (#1) in May of 1968. “Iron Man 3” is presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures & DMG Entertainment. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing & Jon Favreau, Louis D’Esposito, Stephen Broussard, Victoria Alonso, Alan Fine, Charles Newirth, Stan Lee & Dan Mintz are executive producers. The film hits May 3, 2013, & is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

Price tag on shelf not helping items...
santoanderson - 12/30/2012, 8:46 PM
I'm more interested in all those suits visible in the background artwork. They look too good for just toy designs...
DCMarvelFreshman - 12/30/2012, 8:49 PM
@santoanderson I agree. I wanted to make the packaging the highlight of the article. I really hope we get a Hall of Armor like that in the movie. It reminds of the Hall featured in the animated Ultimate Avengers movie.
Jollem - 12/30/2012, 8:49 PM
i like the gold on the packaging for the mark forty-duece
andrew991116 - 12/30/2012, 8:49 PM
Second picture bottom right. Destroyer suit?
jimpinto24 - 12/30/2012, 8:54 PM
Buying this for my Marvel collection!
SomTingWong - 12/30/2012, 8:54 PM
still has the avengers sign
RSDhillon - 12/30/2012, 8:57 PM
@avengers72 No it doesn't. That's some other toy behind it.
AmazingFantasy - 12/30/2012, 9:10 PM
Maximus101 - 12/30/2012, 9:13 PM
I dont care about toys I want the movie damn it! Lol
Bark4Soul - 12/30/2012, 9:20 PM
That's dope, might have to get that big ol Iron Patriot figure. Too cool
Dax - 12/30/2012, 9:22 PM
$20.00 and no articulation in at least the elbows? No thanks. Armor looks awesome, though. And I guess this means that they will definitely call Rhodey "Iron Patriot".
polarkyle - 12/30/2012, 9:29 PM
Wonder when were are going to see the rescue armor
Funsize - 12/30/2012, 9:32 PM
The packaging is pretty sweet.
CharlesLord - 12/30/2012, 9:33 PM
am i the only one that notices the nimrod lookin suit on the packaging?
JorLBola - 12/30/2012, 9:40 PM
This looks way much better that the previously crappy figures!
AlternateNo4 - 12/30/2012, 9:48 PM
the 19.99 isn't for these figures, it's for the avengers hulk figure that used to occupy the shelf.
RyGoR - 12/30/2012, 9:53 PM
Anyone else notice the top right corner suit looks like a mix between whiplash's suit from the second one and iron man's???
BrowniesExplode - 12/30/2012, 9:56 PM
I just hope rhodey get the machine gun on his shoulder and his original color scheme
JorLBola - 12/30/2012, 9:57 PM
I love the lighting, but it would be perfect with more articulations
AlternateNo4 - 12/30/2012, 9:57 PM
although for 10-inch, 3-battery, light-shinin' sound-blastin' 2-battle-mode thingies like these, $19.99 doesn't seem high anyway.
AztecRainGod - 12/30/2012, 10:15 PM
Looks like the actual war machine armor is on the last picture, bottom left side.

Lets hope it makes an appearance, the IP suit is OK and all, but Rhodey is supposed to be War Machine.
AztecRainGod - 12/30/2012, 10:18 PM
Looks like a Hammer Drone variant, just to the right of the Iron Man figures head.

Maybe there really will be 40 iron man suits in the movie.
loki668 - 12/30/2012, 10:28 PM
I was still hoping that they were going to call this film "Iron Man 3: Electric Boogaloo". It would have been fun to see Iron Man and the Mandarin poppin' and locking for the fate of the world.

BubblesShedAndBreakfast - 12/30/2012, 10:32 PM
Not much articulation.:/
mgeoff88 - 12/30/2012, 10:32 PM
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm really tempted to buy the Iron Man one...

I just think that would look really cool sitting on my shelf.

@MistressDeath They did do an awesome job with the packaging. Especially the Hall of Armor background.

@RyGoR Yah, I did. The one I'm trying to figure out is the suit on the bottom row all the way to the right. There's a lot going on with that armor.

@loki "Break dancing skills not included." :P
Robert - 12/30/2012, 10:48 PM
I'll just wait for the Hot Toys versions.
JDUKE25 - 12/30/2012, 10:49 PM
I've got an Iron Man and War Machine, but I'll pass on this. Still don't like the design, of either one.
gaikinger - 12/30/2012, 10:52 PM
Looks like it has as much articulation as a bottle of shampoo.
TheAbomination - 12/31/2012, 12:01 AM
Seems kind of early to start putting toys on shelves. Then again, merchandising is what Disney loves to do.
spidey1994 - 12/31/2012, 1:18 AM
The Hall of Armor background, those suits better be in the movie!
SuperSomething616 - 12/31/2012, 1:48 AM
So Iron Patriot it is then!! Still hoping to see his normal War Machine colours at some point...really stoked for this film!!!
CoulsonLives - 12/31/2012, 2:59 AM
Hey, it's Snailflies. Just changing a few things to my profile. Also the suits look cool.
loki668 - 12/31/2012, 4:28 AM
Suit needs a bowtie and a pullstring that says "Did I do that?"

Too bad that there's no articulation. They do look good however.

CorronZenith30 - 12/31/2012, 4:37 AM
I'm with you santoanderson... wonder if those suits in the background have anything to do with the suits Stark controls in the film

move gonna be epic!
CorronZenith30 - 12/31/2012, 4:38 AM
oops, mean movie gonna be epic!!
CorronZenith30 - 12/31/2012, 4:41 AM
but I guess the move to have this movie directed b y Mr. Black makes it epic right??? ooh mate.. I'm gonna stop right now... put it down to pre 2013 drinks.. done

Still not sure about the gold color on the suit
BackwardGalaxy - 12/31/2012, 4:53 AM
So, I guess they really are calling him Iron Patriot.
marvel72 - 12/31/2012, 5:06 AM
they're alright if that's what floats your boat, personally if i collected figures it would be the hot toys line but they're far too expensive so i don't bother.
