I love bands like Passion Pit and Neon Trees but...

Where the monkeys is AC/DC? Iron Maiden? Black Sabbath? This kind of music is half the reason the Iron Man films are so cool!
johnnymarr - 3/28/2013, 3:58 AM
What a bunch of sh!t bands.
DCjohnny - 3/28/2013, 4:09 AM

Tempo - 3/28/2013, 4:18 AM
Sh!t band,man! What the hell.
TheGambitFreak - 3/28/2013, 4:29 AM
odd freaking mixture... doesn't fit the tone of the movie at all. and [frick]! Wolfmother was suppose to do a single for the movie. all I see is a song with andrew stockdale. dammit. they were the closest ones to ac/dc, sabbath and zepplin.

R888 - 3/28/2013, 5:34 AM
IMAGINE DRAGONS is a great band :)
Hodor - 3/28/2013, 5:53 AM
MrChuff - 3/28/2013, 5:55 AM
At least I tried to keep the AC/DC vibe....balls to these bands.
Darthzilla - 3/28/2013, 5:58 AM
Better not be pulling some Spidey 3 bullshit.

Release the score as well.

Spidey 3 sucked but I thought the score was very well done.
jessepostal - 3/28/2013, 6:35 AM
Don't like how they say inspired by on these releases when some of the tunes were written and recorded before the movie was even a thought.
punkfusion - 3/28/2013, 6:37 AM
wow some crazy Indie Bands... AWOLNATION, and Neon Trees are pretty awesome
EdgyOutsider - 3/28/2013, 6:56 AM
Redlight King is the only reason to pick up this soundtrack. The Avengers soundtrack is much better cause it has better rock music on it.
longbowhunter - 3/28/2013, 7:35 AM
It's ok I know Tony has decent taste in music. He was rockin Suicidal Tendencies in the first movie.
JatevinM - 3/28/2013, 8:01 AM
I am a fan of Awolnation and a really big Imagine Dragons fan and its good to see them on the soundtrack. However I think Radioactive by Imagine Dragons would really have been a good fit for the movie.
OnLeatherWings - 3/28/2013, 8:18 AM
Movie albums always suck. This looks like it will suck especially hard. A bunch of generic radio rock here
TheDudeRises - 3/28/2013, 8:28 AM
How do you go from Soundgarden in the Avengers to this crap? Marvel really is cheap.
johnnymarr - 3/28/2013, 8:50 AM
Tony Stark doesn't approve those shit bands.

EdgyOutsider - 3/28/2013, 9:00 AM
Onleatherwings: Rock music is good music. As long as they never put Nirvana on a soundtrack, I'm all good. Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, The Punisher, DareDevil and The Avengers have the best soundtracks or albums whatever you want to call them. I like to refer them as good music. Nickelback is on two of them, three if you count Hero by Chad Kroeger ft. Josey Scott (my introduction to Nickelback more-less). All time favorite band.
LEOSTRATOR - 3/28/2013, 9:19 AM
Rock is shit music.
EdgyOutsider - 3/28/2013, 9:20 AM
Yes, Nickelback is my all time favorite band. I'm not afraid to say it publicly. I have all their CDs.
sameoldthing - 3/28/2013, 9:27 AM
Rock music is where people actually play their own instruments right?
Yea,okay..glad to see actual talent & not retard turntables with crappy DJ.
johnnymarr - 3/28/2013, 9:43 AM
The idea that everything related to 'rock music' are good is a big illusion, specially when we speak about what type of 'rock music' has been produced in the last 15/20 years.

A bit of info: there's good bands and bad bands.

And today we have a bunch of bands fabricated by big corporations.
riddlemethis09 - 3/28/2013, 9:44 AM
I don't mind them switching this stuff up. For Iron Man 2 there was the freaking AC/DC CD and yet there was what, one song in the movie? I LOVE AC/DC! My favorite all time band, but I don't mind them departing from their music.
SigmaCenturion - 3/28/2013, 9:50 AM
Glad they got away from the AC/DC old farts. Time for some other bands to get attention.
johnnymarr - 3/28/2013, 10:27 AM
If some other bands are those listed above, I only hope I don't have to listen to that shit during the movie.
Ramiel - 3/28/2013, 10:29 AM
AC/DC or go home!
AgentBobofHydra - 3/28/2013, 10:41 AM
WTF is Robbie #@&!ing Williams doing on this, may just be featuring but the guy is an absolute tool.
What a£$€clown approved this play list????
Luigi - 3/28/2013, 1:10 PM
:/ I'm not against all new music or anything, I thought the Avengers Assemble soundtrack was great. But a lot of this sounds like background music to a Disney Channel movie. Ugh.
Luigi - 3/28/2013, 1:11 PM
Somewhat OT I suppose, but TNT would be a great way to start of IM3.
Altair - 3/28/2013, 2:49 PM
Where the [frick] is Foo Fighters? They're easily the best still standing alternative band from the 90s along with Soundgarden. What the [frick] happened to Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Stone Temple Pilots? They all got on drugs and ruined their careers. Foo and Soundgarden are still going strong.
EdgyOutsider - 3/28/2013, 4:12 PM
@Altair: bands like Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins and Foo Fighters have sucked (no disrespect to Kurt Cobain). Stone Temple Pilots were good as were Alice in Chains and Seven Mary Three. A lot of people praise Nirvana but, I feel they did nothing for rock music. Bands like Seether and Nickelback have improved greatly from them.
NightForce - 3/28/2013, 9:54 PM
I'll wait for Brian Tyler's OST thanks.
StarkReactor - 3/28/2013, 10:04 PM
@Altair Also, Foo was featured in Thor. Soundgarden still rocks, and Pearl Jam is still making great music IMHO, they didn't ruin their career. One of the few bands that sound excellent live, and are not tied down by music industry BS, just artistry.

@Armored..Agreed. Can't wait. Brian Tyler's the shit.
NightForce - 3/28/2013, 11:03 PM
I know man. I was just listening to his score for Eagle Eye. The guy is really talented. His score for Far Cry 3 was amazing. I'm drooling in anticipation for the Iron Man 3 score to come out. Should be in a couple of weeks now!
MB007 - 3/29/2013, 5:47 AM
Ha, i only know Imagine Dragons, and that's from that one Assassin's Creed III trailer.. :)
StarkReactor - 3/30/2013, 9:08 PM
Check out his Battle: LA score. Tyler's music is the best part of the movie.
