IRON MAN 3 Trailer Coming Soon?

IRON MAN 3 Trailer Coming Soon?

Iron Man 3 doesn't hit theaters until May 3, 2013 and filming is still underway but could we be close to seeing the first trailer for the film?

On Tuesday, The Avengers Facebook page in the UK offered fans the chance to sign up for tickets to a screening of extras from the upcoming Avengers Blu-Ray and DVD. It was also teased that there might be a surprise extra bonus.

At the event that was held at the Disney offices in London yesterday, fans got to see the very first Iron Man 3 Theatrical Trailer.

Attendees described the Iron Man 3 trailer as being similar to the Iron Man 3 footage shown at Comic-Con but a little bit different. It apparently did not match the rumored description of an Iron Man 3 trailer that surfaced several weeks back.

Here's a short description:

The Iron Man 3 trailer showed Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin, Tony Stark’s Malibu mansion getting blown up, and the Iron Man extremis suit. Attendees described the trailer as being mind blowing, very dark, and amazing.

The Avengers DVD/Blu-Ray will be available to purchase in the UK on Monday, September 17th and on September 25th in th US. Iron Man 3 is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 3, 2013.

Mind blowing, dark, and amazing. It was also epic and gritty when the title came on, IRON MAN 3-Rising to a theater near you next year.

Iron Man seems to be cool enough & popular enough to keep being featured in movies for decades like James Bond has been going on for so long.

Obviously Superman,Batman & Spider-Man have that appeal as well but it is a short list of comic heroes that could go on for many, many years.

Can anyone think of another Marvel / DC or other comic character that have staying power?

Grif translation: Shit trailer.
Frogman - 9/14/2012, 6:45 AM
Well we've seen the teaser for Man of Steel so an Iron Man 3 soon is to be expected
sameoldthing - 9/14/2012, 7:12 AM
Yes,The Incredible Hulk is a character that has staying's already been proven in less than a decade Banner has been played by 3 different actors & each incarnation of The Hulk has gotten better & better.

I think Wolverine can be added to the list as well. So..
Comic heroes that can honestly continue to be featured in a film franchise for generations are:

Marvel--Spider-Man,Iron Man,The Hulk & Wolverine.
(Thor & Cap really only service a team movie like Cyclops & Nightcrawler do for X-Men..eventually individual movies would tire.)

DC--Superman & Batman, possibly Wonder Woman but that has yet to be proven.
(Green Lantern was a bland movie & character can't maintain longevity like the others. )

Any opinions or suggestions? Is this accurate or way off?

Green Lantern would've been good had they done it right. Fo what they did they should've just taken the comic and made the movie panel for panel of a good story.

I don't see why there isn't a trailer yet. Man of steel had a trailer 2 months ago and that movie comes out a month after Iron Man 3.
charlie2094 - 9/14/2012, 12:35 PM
^ There isn't a set time interval for releasing trailers. They merely released Man of Steel earlier so they could show it at Comic-Con and attach it to Dark Knight Rises. The trailer to Iron Man 2 didn't come til December, whilst we only got the Dredd trailer a few months ago.

Everyone does it differently.
