dude, myzl- whats his [frick] can warp reality, odin cant do shit to this guy...unless he says his name backwards??...god superman has some dumb enemies..... but still...he wipes his ass with odin
nikgrid - 7/8/2012, 12:47 AM
Mxy takes it...read "whatever happened to the man of tomorrow by alan moore" then tell me otherwise.
KalElOdinson - 7/8/2012, 1:09 AM
"Wipes his ass with Odin"?? Did you really just say that??? You're an idiot for saying that and shouldn't be allowed to comment on this site anymore. This is friggin Odin we're talking about!! This no contest and Odin wipes his ass with that imp.
relentless1 - 7/8/2012, 1:29 AM
@KalElOdinson you sir, are a dumb [frick], can odin change REALITY to whatever he wants?? i didnt think so, odin is a run of the mill "god" yeah hes got power out the yin yang but last time i checked mr myz could just blink him out of exsistence with a thought, you need to read the abilities page before you open your mouth son. now, take your lips off of odins dick and smarten up marvelite
PanaV - 7/8/2012, 2:46 AM
I undestand why it would seem that Mxy would take this easily but i don't believe that's the case. Odin is the king of Asgard and can directly tap into the OdinForce. A supreme being like him surely will not lose to just a reality alternation. Mind barriers, fields and all that can be used to protect him from such attacks which in their very base just a big mind[frick]. With an excessive use of OdinForce Odin should win this!
relentless1 - 7/8/2012, 3:18 AM
@panaV, i respectfully disagree, the odinforce is ver powerful, one of the most powerful things in the marvel universe, but that universe like any other has a reality and mr myx can change that reality to anything he wishes, its kindof like neo in the matrix so odin force or not hes still contained inside the barriers of reality and mr myx can alter that any way he chooses, hes a whole nother level above odin
relentless1 - 7/8/2012, 3:19 AM
neo > smith..... mr myx > odin, get it?
Matowar - 7/8/2012, 3:41 AM
You can't argue with relentless1 he will just keep coming back he won't give up thus the name lol. However sorry to say Odin wins this. Mr Myx may be able to manipulate people like superman and batman but when it comes to Odin or someone of his caliber that little imp would gladly say his name backwards and run away. If you think any different *cough cough relentless1* you are sucking serious DC banana.
relentless1 - 7/8/2012, 4:22 AM
i cnat believe im even sticking up for this guy, supermans villians suck.... anyways, i dont think you ppl get it, odin is apart of the fabric of reality...what could he possibly do to fight off someone that can change that reality, the only thing that could maybe, MAYYBE match up to this guy would be another omnipresent being that can bend reality, last i checked odin cant do any of that shit

"
Odin is capable of manipulating the Odin Force - a powerful source of energy - for a number of purposes, including energy projection; creation of illusions and force fields; levitation; molecular manipulation, communicating telepathically with other Asgardians even if they be on Earth and he in Asgard,[33] hypnotizing humans;[9] channelling lightning to Earth from Asgard,[33] controlling the lifeforces of all Asgardians, and teleportation. The character has also used the Odinpower for greater feats such as transporting the entire human race to an alternate dimension;[9] stopping time;[9] pulling remains of distant planets towards Earth,[1] compressing the population of an entire planet into a single being, the Mangog and then recreating the race[34] and taking a soul away from the arch-demon Mephisto.[35

"
Odin was so powerful that even while severely weakened, in his fight with Seth which was waged on every plane of existence simultaneously, the energy released from their battle was so powerful it shattered countless entire galaxies, reignited dying suns, and shook the very fabric of the Multiverse [33].

Going by the silver age characters (cuz thats all that matters)Odin defeated Galactus. Nuff said

It's says that MR MXYZPTLK can only control earthly organisms and some aliens. I'm not so sure its been proven that asgardians are aliens.
Superior - 7/8/2012, 6:50 AM
It's a hard one, Odin might underestimate Mxyzptlk, even though he can stop time before Mxyzptlk attacks.
Superior - 7/8/2012, 6:50 AM
@upside Asgards are aliens

Well, they are inter-dimensional beings. They are not from this universe.

Seejay and Kalelodinson have it right.

Odin would win.
SpideyQuad - 7/8/2012, 2:00 PM
Odin easily... C'mon man it's Odin... he created the Gods. The DC imp is little more then an occasional annoyance.

Much like DC fanboys!
daschysta - 7/8/2012, 4:35 PM
Myx Easily he has absolute reality warping powers, his only limits are self imposed because otherwise existence would be boring. He could simpy write odin out of existence if he so chose. It isn't even a contest, myx may be lame, but it's ignorant to argue he wouldn't win.
daschysta - 7/8/2012, 4:39 PM
"Though most often portrayed merely as an annoyance, the true powers of Mr. Mxyzptlk are some of the greatest there is. As a 5th dimensional imp, like the Bat-Mite and the Thunderbolt, he capable of virtually anything he wants to do, having once created and destroyed a fully functioning dimension just for a game he played, summoned Darkseid and survived it. And has on more than one occasion displayed that the Spectre is inferior to him in sheer power."

He's been portrayed as characters unquestionably more powerful than Odin. The freaking spectre...
daschysta - 7/8/2012, 4:42 PM
"Though the exact limits of Mr. Mxyzptlk's powers are unknown, he's notable for being vastly more powerful than cosmic beings; indeed, during the Emperor Joker storyline, Mxyzptlk revealed that he could potentially possess unlimited power, but he never uses it because he would risk destroying reality and have nothing to do the next day. Even the neigh-omnipotent Spectre could not match him. Only The Presence and his sons Micheal and Lucifer seems above Mxyzptlk's powers."

Seriously the limits Marvel fans will go to to convince themselves that their fav wins in spite of actual feats is funny.
Pooh - 7/8/2012, 6:17 PM
Mxy would win. It would be sad for Odin.
SkaarJones - 7/8/2012, 8:11 PM
Myx is much more powerful. He's gotta be tricked.
kisama - 7/8/2012, 8:36 PM
odin would simply trick myx if he needed to. he has infinite knowledge, tricking someone wouldn't be that hard.
BuckyCap - 7/8/2012, 9:13 PM
^Right, he has "infinite knowledge," but has fallen for many of Loki's tricks...
relentless1 - 7/8/2012, 11:09 PM
this is such a perfect example of the marvelite bias on these polls, it irritates me to no end, the process should be simple; read the abilities an make and educated, articulate descision based on facts not preference
VIRILEMAN - 9/2/2012, 1:22 PM
I love how when a DC character is loosing a poll relentless1 shows up to piss his pants about the whole thing. I've also noticed that he constantly calls people "marvelites" when he obviously is a massive DC fanboy.
