Possible Vague Description For New IRON MAN 3 Trailer Surfaces

With the second theatrical trailer for Iron Man 3 expected to be attached to Disney's Oz: The Great And Powerful on March 8th, a description of the "spectacular" footage has found its way online.

A new full length trailer for Marvel's Iron Man 3 is expected to premiere sometime next week, likely attached to Disney's Oz: The Great And Powerful on March 8th. Now, the folks over at Bleeding Cool have received the following list of highlights from the trailer (which was recently classified), promising more shots of Sir Ben Kingsley's Mandarin, new looks at Tony Stark's "Iron Army", and even a possible look at a Hulkbuster armor. Check out the description below, as well as leaked concept art which was recently sent to us.

A second full-length trailer for Iron Man 3 has been readied for release with Oz The Great and Powerful. It runs two minutes and twenty five seconds, and according to the Little Bleeders who have seen it, it's rather spectacular.

Now, I don't want to go over and over the details when I haven't even seen the trailer myself, but here are some key points that I've been told by two sources a piece.

The President of the United States appears and declares war on The Mandarin and The Ten Rings, his terrorist group.

There are more shots of The Mandarin, and he continues to threaten Tony personally.

As a result, Tony gets rather cross. He says something like: "You've made this personal. I'm coming for you, Mandarin."

We see Tony and Rhodey flying in to battle, followed by a whole battalion of the other Iron Man armors. Tony calls them "his boys" and there's dozens of them. They're of all different looks and styles, some of them familiar, some of them new.

Indeed, the very last shot showcases one special suit of armour in particular, smashing through a wall. Neither of our Little Bleeders feel one hundred percent sure, having seen the fleeting shot only one time, but they both shared the same suspicion with me…could it really be Hulkbuster armour?

Sounds exciting, eh? Stay tuned to CBM for the premiere of the trailer (which may be on March 5th).

Iron Man 3 stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale, Jon Favreau and Sir Ben Kingsley. The film is set to hit theaters May 3rd this year.

Awesome Hulkbuster art:

Darthzilla - 2/24/2013, 9:57 AM
Guise, it's concept art. It'll probably change when it's shown in the film. The War Machine concept for the first Iron Man looks nothing like the final product in Iron Man 2.

Is it still a Hulkbuster armor if it isn't being used to bust a Hulk?
AlibiBreakfast - 2/24/2013, 10:02 AM
The Hulkbuster armor being included actually makes sense. Presumably Tony has spent the year since the events of the Avengers building suits for the different threats in this new world (ie Deep-Space armor). He got a taste of what Banner can do when enraged while on the Helicarrier, so it's only logical he would design something to combat him should he ever need to in the future.
TheRedSkull - 2/24/2013, 10:04 AM
Hulkbuster? Unless it really is the only armour that could take down the Mandarin, then they should have saved this armour for Avengers 2
JDUKE25 - 2/24/2013, 10:08 AM
I sure hope it doesn't look like that hulkbuster though.
thalidomide - 2/24/2013, 10:13 AM
As soon as I read the "iron man armors" my butt clenched XD
Kingdork - 2/24/2013, 10:14 AM
Come on guys, it's just ONE concept art among many we haven't seen yet. And we don't even know if there will be a Hulkbuster. I personally highly doubt it (as we'd also seen one during the Avengers marketing campaign)
DCjohnny - 2/24/2013, 10:17 AM
when is it coming out
marvel72 - 2/24/2013, 10:20 AM

umm, dafuq is hulkbuster armor doing in IM3? better not be for another iron man vs mandy-in-iron-man-armor battle finale.
BrotherStarkofMABMindz - 2/24/2013, 10:33 AM
"Uhhhh, Now as a country....we must prosper......weeee must assemble......aaand we must declare war on those who threaten ooouuurrrr... way of freedom and democracy........weeeee must declare war on The Mandarin and his cohorts"
continuezero - 2/24/2013, 10:34 AM
Why do we need Extremis and Hulkbuster. I would hope that Hulkbuster would be an after credit thing but then it wouldn't be in the trailer.
FrenzyFreak - 2/24/2013, 10:39 AM
@Freakingintelligentrobertgriffin My theory for the reason that SHIELD won't have a large presence in IM3 and TTDW is due to the fact that they took a huge financial and physical hit in the Avengers when there main base of operations was left in shambles and they completely disobeyed the US government so there probably going through something of a rebuilding period.
HeeroG - 2/24/2013, 10:42 AM
Don't understand some guys in here.
He enter in a war with Mandarin, having to use all his fricking armors to win...why the fricking he would not use Hulkbuster too? "I have to win this! Let's go all my armors! Except you Hulkbuster, you're too powerful, you will be useless in this life or death situation."
AFRICANNERD - 2/24/2013, 10:42 AM
Iron army???.....I'm so in there
Jollem - 2/24/2013, 10:43 AM
just show me ANYTHING to get excited about. hasn't quite happened yet
HeeroG - 2/24/2013, 10:44 AM
@Avengers52 Shield don't work to US government, they're a global organization under orders of the Supreme Council.
AFRICANNERD - 2/24/2013, 10:44 AM
@heeroG nice one
AFRICANNERD - 2/24/2013, 10:46 AM
Any word on the godbuster armor??
DioFoRio - 2/24/2013, 10:52 AM
I have a feeling he made all these armors because of the Avengers. It's logical he has a suit for all the crazy shit he never knew about before. A contingency plan. He's like Marvels Batman. I'm sure he has a godkiller, hulkbuster...so on and so forth.
95 - 2/24/2013, 10:55 AM
In that case, it's not Hulkbuster. It might pay homage to it, and Tony may say that it's inspired by the Green Giant's posture, but it's not a Hulkbuster. It's a bulldozing Iron Man army drone variant. And in that case, it looks fine to me. As a "Hulkbuster" concept I called if ugly (especially for Tony to wear), but since it's an unmanned drone, the hunchback is a very neat variant to the Mark 47 army.

@LEVITIKUZ I believe during production in South Carolina, a scene with the President was spotted. They casted a Caucasian man. Since Air Force One comes under attack, it would be disrespectful to have a dark-skinned President come under attack in their movie, I think. Or back during production, they thought Romney was going to win, lol.
cmax - 2/24/2013, 11:02 AM
95 is correct in his reasoning.
LAXtremest - 2/24/2013, 11:06 AM
We don't even know that concept art of the Hulk Buster is the finished design. Keeps your pants on bro, shit.
TheSuperguy - 2/24/2013, 11:15 AM
Iron Man 3 is gonna be epic!!!
PrinceOfChaos - 2/24/2013, 11:17 AM
On the Hulkbuster and it's "chicken" as I've heard it called design. If this truly is the Hulkbuster, look at it carefully. The image looks as if it's in a stance about ready to jump, a stance where one would be hunched forward a little (especially in a bulky armor). When standing straight up, the head looks like it would curl a bit more into a protective guard and become more bulky and less, as stated before, "chicken."

This is obviously just a thought, but seems to make sense but may just be wishful thinking that it does not naturally look like it does in the picture.
superherofan21 - 2/24/2013, 11:31 AM
Keep in mind that the Hulkbuster suit we see now is only concept art. It could change in the final version of the film.
