KICK-ASS 2 Set: Christopher Mintz-Plasse In His New Costume & First Look At John Leguizamo

The streets of Toronto, Canada have been transformed to look like New York for the filming of Kick-Ass 2. In the wee hours of today Christopher Mintz-Plasse was seen in the back of a car talking to his driver, played by John Leguizamo. McLovin lets out a maniacal laugh and puts on his new mask. Why did they even bother having red mist change his costume at the end of the first film if they clearly werent sure it would be his look in the sequel. On second thought i'm sure a few years will have past considering hitgirl so this drastic change shouldnt matter. We'll see what these characters were doing between these films.
Luminescent - 9/20/2012, 11:19 AM
Why is the costume making me laugh?
IgnurRant - 9/20/2012, 11:21 AM

...looks very 80's hair metal...
DrHorrible - 9/20/2012, 11:26 AM
Anyhow, it does resemble the Mother[frick]er's look in the comics in certain aspects. I hope it looks a little less bondage-esque in the final product.
MisterBabadook - 9/20/2012, 11:28 AM
Corny looking, just the way they intend it to be I'm guessing. I just hope it's not so over-the-top that it dilutes what made the first one awesome.
JorLBola - 9/20/2012, 11:29 AM
Wow that's an interesting look, immediately you know... wow that's the villain :P
Ghasst - 9/20/2012, 11:42 AM

It has a hell-raiser, Edward Scissorhands type vibe
rbfn04 - 9/20/2012, 11:53 AM
"The Mother[frick]er". Man, that is one mother[frick]ing stupid name.
BoosterGold1991 - 9/20/2012, 12:07 PM
WTF! is the guy wearing? This must be one of the ugliest outfit I've seen in a long time.
JerseyJoker - 9/20/2012, 12:14 PM
I'm getting the feeling that nobody read Kick-Ass 2. So yeah...why bother commenting on the pictures of an adaption you never read.
CharlesLord - 9/20/2012, 12:21 PM

aduder - 9/20/2012, 12:25 PM

Ryguy88 - 9/20/2012, 1:05 PM
That's hilarious! I lost a decent amount of interest in this once Vaughn dropped out but these recent set picks have brought me back in.
CptHero - 9/20/2012, 1:11 PM
Mindy's back

nonserviam - 9/20/2012, 1:15 PM
seeing as he only changed his name from “Red Mist“ to “MotherF-er“ and kept the old costume in the comics, if they had to change it in the movies couldn't they have at least made it look like the comic book?
IIIAdamantiumIII - 9/20/2012, 1:26 PM
LOL looks kinda cook but with that stache he looks like a buddy of myn
polarkyle - 9/20/2012, 1:33 PM
talk about being over the top
darkjoker1 - 9/20/2012, 1:51 PM
wow that looks tacky i mean in the comic it was red...but hey they kept the hairstyle i hope they dont ruin mother[frick]er....
repulse93 - 9/20/2012, 2:14 PM
You know, I actually think if they do this right, Kick-Ass 2 could be the film that really allows Christopher Mintz-Plasse to branch out from McLovin.

Hell, if Wadlow does this right, we might just get the R-rated version of Heath Ledger's Joker (someone who you will fear wholeheartedly no matter what they're wearing).
repulse93 - 9/20/2012, 2:28 PM
Apologies for the double-post, but I just realized what I said earlier isn't incredibly likely. He seems more like if the Bear Jew become a supervillain.

Still, can't wait for the sequel.
kevberg - 9/20/2012, 2:34 PM
so....he's Mosquitor from the evil horde?
HavocPrime - 9/20/2012, 2:53 PM
Looks Kinky
Dudeposter - 9/20/2012, 3:10 PM
the stubble really pushes his costume to rapist territory
InfiniteMonkey - 9/20/2012, 3:15 PM
The bloke that designed that costume must have been on crack...
gaikinger - 9/20/2012, 3:54 PM
Can someone post a pic of the comic book costume? Seems like lazy journalism that its not there in an article like this.
BatmanHush23 - 9/20/2012, 4:00 PM
sucks for nick cage lol
AmazingFantasy - 9/20/2012, 4:03 PM
I swear he's in a gimp suit.
KingLing - 9/20/2012, 4:10 PM
I love it. It's stupidly over the top. Just like the rest of the movie will probably be. Looking forward to it.
