Sole survivor of the universe that existed before the Big Bang, Galactus is quite possibly the most fearsome being in the cosmos. He wields the Power Cosmic and can use it to nearly any end he desires. With this force, Galactus has control of time and space, matter and dimension. He has powers of telepathy and telekinesis and can manipulate souls, memories and emotions. Sometimes called The Devourer of Worlds, Galactus must consume inhabitable planets to maintain his existence, absorbing countless planets and eliminating entire civilizations. Galactus is able to impart certain aspects of the Power Cosmic to others and has appointed Heralds to do his bidding. Perhaps the most infamous of these heralds are Nova and Silver Surfer, who pledged themselves as Galactus' envoys to save their home worlds. Now, they travel the universe in search of new worlds for their master to devour.

Very cool indeed. Great pics. Is it just me, or does the face in the first and last pic look like Ben Affleck & Dennis Leary had a baby together.

I miss the big "G" on his belt! :)
shiverman20 - 7/9/2012, 12:20 PM
Galactus to me is visually one of the worst of the well known comic characters, his enormous helmet just strikes me as someone trying too hard to make him look 'out of this world'. He should have had a make over by now (appearance in FF2 not valid)
hoodedjester - 7/9/2012, 12:37 PM
that's awesome - such detail
MrsTonyStark0507 - 7/9/2012, 12:45 PM
Shiverman20 - Don't you know? He clearly needs the giant helmet for his giant ears!!

Looks sweet. Whenever fox wants to relinquish the rights, Marvel will have a field day!
Ichaos - 7/9/2012, 2:34 PM
@blackandyellow Planets are high in fiber.

Looks great but reminds people of how some comic book outfits look good on page but hard to imagine anyone actually wearing such head gear in real life. That goes for both Galactus and Loki. What do those things do anyway? And does he really need armor?
Ichaos - 7/9/2012, 2:35 PM
Also it begs the question. Does he avoid eating gas giants as a regular diet because that would be like us eating bean burrito as our regular diet?
DanteSparda - 7/9/2012, 3:04 PM
So full of win!!!

Now Marvel should buy back the rights of Galactus and put him in a movie looking like this:

And not like Fox's Galactus who look like this:

laughterman26 - 7/9/2012, 5:25 PM

CrashTest - 7/9/2012, 6:43 PM
yup. "Shut up and take my money"
sameoldthing - 7/10/2012, 3:41 AM
Galactus has really nice figure eating all those planets he would have chipped a tooth or had some decay.

Guess the power cosmic is better than the power flouride.
Facade - 7/10/2012, 5:51 AM
I expected him to be fatter.
