While surfing through the web I saw something that caught my eye on the terribly failed musical know as Spider-Man: TOTD.



To show how far Julie Taymor has failed throughout the past year, she becomes a laughing stock at the New York International Fringe Festival otherwise known as N.Y.I.F.F. The mockery is called "The Legend of Julie Taymor (or in this case Failmore) or The Musical that killed everybody!!!" With the books/lyrics by Travis Ferguson, and music/lyrics by Dave Ogrin, is a behind the scenes look at Broadway's most expensive (and shitty)show. It is wicked and outrageous.



Julie Taymor (again in this case "Failmore") is made as an ego-crazed maniac (ladies and gentlemen Green Goblin III) vows to save the show with a musical called "Spider-Dude" that blends Greek myth aswell. It involves "Spider-Dude" fighting off the gods (Sorry no Thor cameo) and Julie Failmore is losing lots of money and is begging that the "show must go on" and even kills a man with her bare hands. And even along the way a man (one of the Spidey TOTD screenwriters) Bruno comes in with a leather jacket and sunglasses and a fake Irish accent.



That's pretty f ucked up and pretty shitted out,

dudes i saw the show, the acrobatics were cool but the villians sucked the way they were portrayed( the lizard as a stuffed animal, really), the music sucked also, it was a flop

she was amazing when it came to the lion king! you have to give her props for that.

You are an idiot. Have you seen the show?

1) its a solid show and everyone I know has loved it
2)its no failure at all. It takes in over 1.7 million each week, is almost sold out (has the biggest theatre on Broadway) and only Wicked and Lion king have been doing better.

Insulting this show is lame now. Old news dude, its a good show now and is a huuuuuge hit. Read the numbers, moron.

Hmmmm.... Sounds like somebody has money at risk.

1) The AVERAGE take has been $1.6M/wk.
2) It costs $1.2M/wk to put on. May break even in 3 yrs.
3) The LionQueen worked hard for her mockery. Deny her not. Hubris cometh before the fall.
4) The "reimagining" may be better than the previous disaster but, good?????
5) How do the investors really feel?
