Spider-Man 2 has been nominated for Academy Awards in three categories. The nominations were announced Tuesday morning in Los Angeles...

The film will be opposed by The Incredibles and The Polar Express in Sound Editing; by The Aviator, The Incredibles, The Polar Express and Ray in Sound Mixing; and by Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and I, Robot in Visual Effects.

The Incredibles is also nominated for Animated Feature Film and Original Screenplay.

The awards will be presented on Sunday, Feb. 26.
