Will Jensen Ackles be the Fastest Man Alive?

Smallville star Jensen Ackles, who plays Lana Lang's love interest Jason Teague on Smallville, is rumored to be up for the part of The Flash in the upcoming movie.

Reportedly, Ackles' character will be written out of the WB series by season's end and although Ackles is working on a new pilot, rumor has it that isn't the reason he's leaving.

Rumor has it Ackles is up for the part of The Flash in the Warner Bros. film now being put together by writer/director Dan Goyer.

Until now, Goyer's Blade colleague Ryan Reynolds has been the rumored front-runner (so to speak) for the role.
