German VIP Medienfonds yanks Funds For Movies

Criminal Tax investigations are underway.

Variety.com has reported that the Munich based VIP Medienfonds has yanked funds 5 and 6 from the market. These two funds were used to put over 1 billion dollars into some of Hollywood's top movies.

VIP has backed well over 40 films, such as 'Monster', 'Ask the Dust', 'All the King's Men', 'The Jacket', 'The Upside of Anger', and 'The Punisher'. There is no word yet to what will happen to other films that are receiving money from their other funds.
