Whedon on the Essence of Wonder Woman

Fan fave director/writer Joss Whedon says his film will distill the character of the Amazon Princess.

Here's a highlight: "Ultimately it's not really a reinvention or even an updating exactly. Basically it's a distillation," says Whedon. "It's taking things about her that are great and the things that have made her an icon and discarding the things that are less important."
