Deadman Movie Rises at Warner Bros.

Boston Brand will haunt the big screen as studio plans feature film based on fright hero.
Warner Bros. plans a feature film based on DC Comics' Deadman, according to Variety.

Guillermo Del Toro (Hellboy) will be part of the production team, the trade says.

Here's how Variety describes the concept: "The character is a ghost who, when alive, was a circus acrobat named Boston Brand. He was murdered during a trapeze performance by an unknown assailant but his spirit was granted the power to possess the living in order to search for his murderer as well as help the innocent."

Producers are looking for a screenwriter which can update Deadman's origin and storyline.
