The Number 23, meanwhile, debuted in second place, with about $15.1 million, which was below expectations, the trade paper reported.
Bridge to Terabithia came in third, holding up in its second weekend of release. Its total take so far is about $46.2 million.
Oscar winner Pan's Labyrinth, meanwhile, lost some steam, with a total of $32.3 million after nine weeks in theaters.
