William Hurt in The Incredible Hulk 2 Movie

Hurt to take the place of Sam Elliot as General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross. Interesting choice, eh?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, William Hurt has signed on to be a part of The Incredible Hulk. This is yet another amazing name in a cast list that’s starting to rival Batman Begins in star power. Edward Norton, Liv Tyler, Tim Roth, and now William Hurt. According to press, Hurt will play General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, father to Betty Ross (Tyler) and a man consumed with hunting down the Hulk.

The Incredible Hulk is slated for release in 2008.
