Peregrym & Ventimiglia want to be big-screen 'Heroes'

The Adventures of Missy & Milo? Nope. Two stars of TV's Heroes dream of playing Wonder Woman and Robin.

Guess being Heroes isn't enough for some people.

Peregrym thinks playing an Amazon would be 'Wonder'-ful

Missy Peregrym, the 25-year-old actor who portrayed illusionist Candice Wilmer on the first season of Heroes, revealed to Wizard's Mel Caylo that she would love to play Wonder Woman on the big screen.

"Actually, I’ve been pushing for that for so long because I know the guys who are trying to develop it and it’s been forever that they’ve been trying to get this script going," she said. "We’ll see what happens, but of course, that would be huge to play that."

A Wonder Woman movie was in development under writer-director Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) for several years. Though Whedon has since (unhappily) bowed out, producer Joel Silver claims that the WW flick is still active.

From Hero to Sidekick?

According to Larry Carroll at MTV Movie Blogs, Heroes regular Milo Ventimiglia gushed during a recent interview that if writer-director Christopher Nolan ever put out a casting call for Robin in a future Batman film, he’d be there.

When reminded that Dick Grayson usually is the shark-jumper of a Batman movie franchise (a jab at Batman & Robin star Chris O'Donnell), the 30-year-old Ventimiglia insisted that current Dark Knight maven Nolan would bring more of an edge to the character.

"They’ve never done it right," Milo added.

How would M.V. change the Robin story? One word:

"Nightwing."
