Actor Djimon Hounsou to be Thulsa Doom

Variety reports that Djimon Hounsou will play sorcerer Thulsa Doom of the Conan the Barbarian comics.

The film will showcase the origins of the flawed hero and show how his road to hell was paved with good intentions. James Earl Jones portrayed the character in the 1982 film, Conan The Barbarian. There is also word that Dynamite will publish a new comic book which focuses on this character.
