We know Skyfall director Sam Mendes will return with Daniel Craig for the 24th James Bond flick, and now The Schmoes have heard that beautiful Blue Is The Warmest Color actress Lea Seydoux is the "top choice" to accompany them.

We haven't heard much on the latest Bond front in some time, but now the lads over at The Schmoes claim a "very trusted source" has informed them that Lea Seydoux, star of the controversial 2013 Palme d'Or winner Blue is the Warmest Color, may be joining the project. They reckon she is the top choice to star opposite Daniel Craig in the still untitled 24th James Bond film, but they have no idea what role she'd play -- Bond girl? Villain? fellow MI6 Agent? One thing is for sure; Seydoux has actually been a fan-favorite choice for the female lead in the next installment in this series for quite a while now, so if this pans out, there will be a lot of happy Bond fans. blue was good. there wasn't 'splosions and cgi, but it was good
CherryBomb - 8/7/2014, 4:07 PM
Yes! Lea is awesome. Loved her in Blue, she's so talented.
And in Ghost Protocol she proved she could be a sexy femme fatale, so I hope this is true!
ComicsBornAndBred - 8/7/2014, 4:11 PM
Great in Blue and Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol. She was badass in Protocol..a real femme fatale
JoeMomma29 - 8/7/2014, 4:13 PM
Dang that movie was pretty graphic........

themidnightking - 8/7/2014, 4:26 PM

Can't get worst than Olga Kurylenko or Halle Berry.

I'm down to see her as a James Bond chick.

The image attached to this article isn't very flattering imo. At first I thought she was a bad choice for a Bond Girl, but after a little bit of searching I am all for it!

Blue in on Netflix. Giggity. ;D
Wannabe - 8/7/2014, 5:05 PM
Lea Seydoux percolates my loins. In a good way.

Blue Is The Warmest Color And Also The Film I Want To See Most Because Joe Just Implied Hard-Core Graphic Lesbian Sex.
HubisKhan - 8/7/2014, 5:23 PM
Blue is the Warmest Color was average at best. The movie was an hour too long and the main character wasn't that great (had a great body though). Lea Seydoux did a decent job.
BritishMonkey - 8/7/2014, 5:40 PM
Bond girl who is rather deadly is my guess.
Ranger14 - 8/7/2014, 6:16 PM
She won't go down on my list as one of the hotter Bond girls if she does get the part, but she is pretty deadly and a good actor. Different strokes for different folks.
blackandyellow - 8/7/2014, 6:43 PM
It's about time we get some Bond news. This franchise shows how a reboot is done right.
vtopa - 8/7/2014, 7:15 PM
she was smoking hot in the last mission impossible flick.
TheBrotherhood - 8/7/2014, 7:15 PM
Fell in love with her the first time I saw her in MI:GP

MericawithanM - 8/7/2014, 7:26 PM
blue is the warmest color looked like a pretentious douche movie. but lea seydoux is cool i guess.
JeighJeigh - 8/7/2014, 7:56 PM
I liked Blue is the Warmest Color. Lengthy, but good. I thought she did a good job in it. Not a Bond fan but I did enjoy Skyfall so hopefully this one is just as good.
BlackBolt72 - 8/7/2014, 9:40 PM
Bring on the Bond girls. Love some good Bondage. Still think the best Bond was Connery in Goldfinger. But Craig is my second favorite Bond.
ImTheDoctor - 8/7/2014, 10:26 PM
She'll be good for a role. She was already a Bond-esque baddie in Mission Impossible 4. In fact, that whole movie was more of a classic Bond film than a Mission Impossible film, or the past 3 actual Bond films. "An assassin who gets paid only in diamonds"? Total Bond villain.

The Broccoli's can really learn how to make a more traditional Bond film by watching MI4.

@JeighJeigh: You have posted the only mature comment I have seen so far. By all means, I adore two attractive females doing their thing, but c'mon guys. Anytime I see any thread on this site approaching anything sexual, the virginity level of members becomes WAY too obvious. C'mon guys..I know it's a stereotype that comic book fans are not, what most would call studs...but jesus christ! Use some tact! There may actually be WOMEN on this site..and they may actually CHAT with you *which is probably the best chance at a "love connection" for most of you. To the female members of CBM, I apologize on behalf of all men who know how to change a tire. To the Male members..learn how to change a damn tire...and how to talk to women.
loki668 - 8/7/2014, 11:15 PM
^^^Is attempting to pull the ladies in by using the "chivalrous" technique^^^

Don't apologize for me! Most of the women I know are just as perverted as men. They just conceal it, for some reason. Far better to be honest and accepted by a good woman, for my faults, than to put up a facade that will eventually fade.

EhMaybeSays - 8/7/2014, 11:25 PM
Not a fan of Blue but not a Bond fan either
EarOne - 8/8/2014, 12:37 AM
VERY sure she'll be a bondgirl / VILLAIN. but THAT would be too much like her performance in the last Mission: Impossible. i think they should've hired that gorgeous lead in Jeunet et Jolie.
nighteagle - 8/8/2014, 7:33 AM
So remember when Penelope Cruz was rumored to be a bond girl.. or when John Travolta was rumored to be the villain after he said he had talks with the producers and they said they would consider it.. i want both of these things to happen lol

I wish Sam Mendes will direct a comicbook superhero movie.
Maybe Batman, or Powers, or Elektra.
