Legendary Actor/Director Richard Attenborough Passes Away Aged 90
Some very sad news to report as movie legend Lord Richard Attenborough, star of the likes of Jurassic Park, Brighton Rock, The Great Escape, A Bridge To Far and Miracle on 34th Street has died just days before his 91st birthday.
With heavy hearts we bring you the news that the great Richard Attenborough passed away earlier today in London just a few days before he was due to turn 91. The movie legend will probably be most recognizable to CBMers for his turn as John Hammond in the first two Jurassic Park movies, but the Academy Award winner has provided the world with many more pieces of cinematic brilliance both in front of and behind the camera. Attenborough suffered a stroke six years ago that confined him to a wheelchair, and apparently he never fully recovered. His family was by his side when he passed.
