Why was Bruce Willis not made to look like JGL?

twilight....the prosthetics that made the corpse of Kristen Stewart emote in this film should win hands down.

I'm surprised Cloud Atlas wasn't included. I'm betting on Hobbit, Lincoln or Les Mis to get it.

hobbit of course

Hitchcock, Les Misérables, and Lincoln will get nominated. The people who decide the Oscars are pretentious film snobs who think that the only good movies are period pieces, silent films, and biopics.
I'm not saying these films will be bad though.

People saying they are surprised that 'Cloud Atlas' isn't on the list has clearly not seen 'Cloud Atlas'.

As much as I loved The Hobbit, the make-up wasn't very good. Many of the Dwarves' prosthetics looked really fake and unnatural. My biggest complaint was with how they botched Ian Holm's appearance.

He's aged ten years in real life, making him over 80 years old now -- but they could have done a much better job of getting him to look like he did in FotR... It's like they weren't too concerned with it or something. The way Old Bilbo looked bothered me that entire scene.

@DoctorDoak- I agree, that is one of my biggest beefs with the hobbit was that they used too much cgi and not enough prosthetic.
DoctorDoak - 12/16/2012, 12:06 AM
@CoLest: Right! He has changed in ten years, and I read that he has some health concerns... But this awful job they did for Sir Ian Holm still bugs me! From the start, they screwed up the wig. and the CG work looks like the alien Prof X at the end of X-MO:W... With better make-up and a little more care they could have had him looking exactly like he did in FotR.

They better get the makeup right for Green Goblin in the next Twilight Spidey Flick...

OH NO they won't...That franchise is already screwed up...
