thalidomide - 8/6/2011, 8:20 AM

marvel72 - 8/6/2011, 8:22 AM
my mine are.

1st sin city
2nd the crow
3rd 300
PitchPerfect - 8/6/2011, 8:25 AM
No Judge Dredd, no Tank Girl, no Kick Ass, no V For Vendetta, no Watchmen, no The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I think this list was compiled by an American since all the British comic books and works of fiction created by British writers/ artists have been ignored.
marvel72 - 8/6/2011, 8:25 AM
^ that should of read either "my favorites are" or just "mine are".

bring back the edit button.
eatmyhit - 8/6/2011, 8:30 AM
@Pitchperfect why not make your own poll if your that bothered!!
PitchPerfect - 8/6/2011, 8:31 AM
No Dick Tracy, no Doc Savage, no Asterix, no Cowboys and Aliens, no Barbarella.
Number1Wolverine - 8/6/2011, 8:33 AM
I love 300, but it shouldn't be #1. And like teabag and a couple of other people have said, this list did not include some of the classic franchises like
1. The Shadow
2. The Phantom
3. Kick Ass
4. Conan the Barbarian
5. Mortal Kombat
6. Street Fighter
Dechiriko - 8/6/2011, 8:34 AM
if there was only one option for Hellboy it'd have beaten Scott Pilgrim
JWStubner - 8/6/2011, 8:44 AM
American Splendor is still the best made MOVIE on that list...sorry bout it
GodzillaKart - 8/6/2011, 8:48 AM
How is 300 rated higher than Hellboy? 300 was a super polished turd.
PaulRom - 8/6/2011, 9:01 AM
300, Scott Pilgrim, and Men In Black FTW.
capcyclopsftw - 8/6/2011, 9:14 AM
Are people on this mostly 12? The first Ninja Turtles FTW! Doesn't quite hold up quality wise to some of these movies, but go back and watch the apartment raid scene starting when Raph is on the rooftop by himself and Kacey Jones sees him from a 3 buildings over. Shit is awesome!
cartman87 - 8/6/2011, 9:36 AM
I can't believe Sin City was first . It was an awful movie.Hellboy and men in black should have been way higher they were great movies
superbatspiderman - 8/6/2011, 9:56 AM
I would have thought The Crow or Hellboy would have gotten it. Sin City is a good movie but I would have put 300 ahead of it. Frank Miller fo the win.
Favabeans - 8/6/2011, 10:07 AM
THose ads that appear in images are pretty annoying. FYI. :)
WellDrawn - 8/6/2011, 10:14 AM
His Dick Tracy not on this list?!!! That takes my vote, either way.

@cartman87 - Just because Sin City's not for everybody doesn't mean it's not a GREAT movie.

It was EXACTLY what it set out to be - a literal, frame by frame translation of a comic book. Much like Watchmen - it was made for fans first and foremost.
farrah045 - 8/6/2011, 10:22 AM
where the frick is kick-ass
RockNRollCC - 8/6/2011, 10:33 AM
Guys, Kick-ass is technically Marvel (Marvel: Icon)

My vote would have gone to The Crow, Sin City, Hellboy (franchise), or Scott Pilgrim.

Rocket38 - 8/6/2011, 10:46 AM
the mask is epic
eisfresh - 8/6/2011, 11:14 AM
From Hell
Sin City
Hell Boy
I Am Legend
PirateOpossum - 8/6/2011, 11:19 AM
I liked

2. 30 days of night
3. The Rocketeer
4. Spawn
5. HB2

I did not like

1. Sin City
2. 300
3. The Crow
4. Scott Pilgrim
5. MIB

I have never seen:

1. American Splendor
2. Barbwire
3. Wanted
4. The spirit
5. Ghost World

The ones I thought were meh.

1. Hellboy
2. From Hell
3. The Mask
4. Akira
TheHierophant - 8/6/2011, 11:38 AM
Just thought I'd point out that the Men in Black comics were published by Aircel Comics, which was bought out by Malibu Comics. Malibue Comics was then bought out by Marvel, making the film an adaptation from the Marvel Comics. It's even in the opening credits.

End Credits:

jaysin420 - 8/6/2011, 1:12 PM
If you voted for The Spirit, you shouldn't be allowed to vote in these polls anymore lol.
SinAllnite - 8/6/2011, 2:36 PM
To all the Flach Fulk Mofoes .... I want to vote for the not yet made movie based off pure imagination that dewells in the back of my mind. Poo on a stick the musical...That should be voted #1.
McGeckoWilson - 8/6/2011, 7:16 PM
No 'A History of Violence' or 'Road to Perdition' I see...
McGeckoWilson - 8/6/2011, 7:17 PM
But off this list, 'Scott Pilgrim'.
twiztidEssex - 8/6/2011, 8:03 PM
Scott f**king pilgrim got more than the Crow? I am VERY ashamed of you supposed comic fans
GodzillaKart - 8/6/2011, 9:21 PM
Man. There are a lot of possibilities: Hellboy, A history of violence, etc. But 300?! If you put down 300 please excuse yourself as a mentally impaired philistine. It was crap.
Doctorwho22 - 8/7/2011, 12:12 AM
where the hell is kick ass?
supyrman - 8/7/2011, 5:46 AM
Kick Ass is a Marvel property. And Turtles should have one. AND how did 300 not rank higher?
supyrman - 8/7/2011, 5:53 AM
Kick Ass is a Marvel property.

@eisfresh: Watchmen and I am Legend are both DC properties.

@TheFlash: MIB is a Marvel property.

@McGeckoWilson: History of Violence and Road to Perdition are also DC properties.

My curiosity is: how come we see both Hellboy movies up there, but only one of the 4 TMNT films?
