SKYFALL Co-Writers Brought Back For BOND 24; Filming Delayed A Few Months

Never say never again. Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, have co-written the past five Bond films, but had announced after Skyfall they were leaving the James Bond franchise. A new report claims that the writing duo will return for Bond 24 to polish the script.

The last five Bond films: The World Is Not Enough (1999), Die Another Day (2002), Casino Royale (2006), Quantum of Solace (2008) and Skyfall (2012) have all been co-written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. Skyfall was supposed to be there last entry in the Bond franchise but they've been recruited to work on John Logan, who also co-wrote Skyfall, for Bond 24. As expected, the additional rewrites will cause a delay in production. People are getting on with their work, but we have to wait for the script, so filming won’t begin till December, a few months later than they wanted."

BOND 24 will be directed by Sam Mendes ("Skyfall"), from a screenplay written by John Logan. The cast will include: Daniel Craig as James Bond (007), Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Miss Moneypenny, and Ben Whishaw as Q.
