1013 sure was a good year :P
TheAbomination - 5/19/2014, 10:09 AM
TASM 2 is shit. I really hope it doesn't surpass Cap.

cipher - 5/19/2014, 10:16 AM
I still need to see Godzilla.
kinghulk - 5/19/2014, 10:16 AM
god frozen has been in cinemas for over 6 months. technically iron man 3 would still be the highest grossing film of 2013 but it wouldn't be the highest grossing film released in 2013 (cos frozen is still in cinemas). cant belive that film is gonna knock iron man 3 down and 10 weeks that is impressive.
Enphlieuwince - 5/19/2014, 10:16 AM
Oh no. You didn't!!! You compared Box Office numbers? But why?? Why would you do such a reckless thing on I can feel the flames already. They're coming. May God have mercy on us all...

YeezusWept - 5/19/2014, 10:17 AM

Where's DoubleD? Dude loves his numbers and I could really use somethin' to help put my OCD in perspective an' shit.
YeezusWept - 5/19/2014, 10:22 AM
Back on topic, I cared more for the humans in the Transformers films than the ones in this movie. Everyone (besides Cranston and the Kaiju) was so dull.
billnye69 - 5/19/2014, 10:32 AM
Never seen Frozen.
billnye69 - 5/19/2014, 10:33 AM
You have 1013 instead of 2013.
KallarkKent - 5/19/2014, 10:34 AM
@billnye69, fixed, thanks :)
ThedamnBatman - 5/19/2014, 10:36 AM

LMAO Godzilla is bombing for a summer blockbuster. Another epic fail from Warner.

U wot m8?
KallarkKent - 5/19/2014, 10:41 AM
@AxeEffect- curse my journalistic standards :)
charlie2094 - 5/19/2014, 10:43 AM
So Spider-Man 2 still, needs to make another $120 million to even be in profit . According to Deadline, it needs $755 million to be in profit

And with Neighbors having already given it a decent hit, and now Godzilla and soon X:Men...not going to make much at all.

Glad Godzilla's doing well. Disappointed by the film, but still hugely enjoyable, hopefully a sequel is even better
Ramiel - 5/19/2014, 10:45 AM
Too bad the movie was Meh-zilla
knocturnal - 5/19/2014, 11:44 AM
Cap2 most overrated movie this year, 1st time falling asleep during a comic movie

Cool. I loved the movie, the last 30 minutes were awesome.
JazzBebopHero - 5/19/2014, 12:14 PM
Absolutely love this news!
The movie was great. I've been a Godzilla fan for more than 26 years. Now all the haters who used their disrespectful sharp tongues to give me crap for being a Godzilla fan can suck it!
Godzilla is a smash hit!! It's a great "In your face" moment!
Firgosaurus - 5/19/2014, 4:10 PM
Frozen been out since the Holidays, it got one more month of screenings give or take. But yeah Disney is just churning out billion dollar franchises like it's noting.
JULEZ13 - 5/19/2014, 5:09 PM
Godzilla was AWESOME!! I was never a huge fan, I watched the cartoons in the 90s when it was on for a short period of time. But after watching this movie, I can honestly say I am a lifelong fan! I left that theater excited. That film made me feel like a kid again, haven't felt like that since I watched MOS last year. Definitely movie of the year so far.

I can't wait for the sequel, hopefully it won't take longer than 2 years to release it.
