XXX: A Porn Parody

XXX: A Porn Parody

Another porn editorial? You bet your sweet, sexy, round butt.

Porn, like comics, has been around much longer then any of us here at CBM, and despite getting a lot of flack from uptight people throughout the years, porn had always been one of the largest industries in the States, and around the world. Porn is basically taking most male (and sometimes female) fantasies and making them real. People can choose to watch it, I do, or not. Simple choice if you ask me. Now, anyway, back to my original point which is; why so much commotion about the XXX Parody articles posted by one of our main editors Ed Gross? And really, why? If you see "XXX A Parody in the title" why EVEN bother to click it and complain? No reason but to be a sour douche/douchette who just wants to complain about how the porn people are destroying your childhood and "blah blah blah".

My understanding is that this site is called Comic Book Movie, and it's purpose is to bring comic-book fans together and discuss their favorite movies based on said comics. Cool, right? Let's talk Thor, Batman, Spiderman etc, but Mr. Gross posts a "pg-13" trailer and some screens (which NEVER, EVER reveal any innappropriate body parts, be they male or female)of an XXX Parody and he might as well have killed someone they way some people react. It's redicilous to say the least, Ed is just trying to post news about a Comic Book Movie. If you have no desire to see XXX Batman, or XXX Wonderwoman, then don't; your choice. That also means don't click the link, because you won't like what you see. The new rumor now is that those articles can't get on the front page anymore because of some of our readers complaining, and I honestly can't see where they're coming from. There's just no justification in their complaints.

"Oh it's porn, it has no place here!"

Oh... It's a film (porn nevertheless, but a film) based on a comic book character.

"But it's graphic, we have children on this site."

Nothing worse then they would see in a normal movie, or television. Like I mentioned before, Ed doesn't post any raunchy pictures or videos. He keeps it classy and basically lets us, that are interested, know that "hey guys there's a new XXX parody". Great! Thanks Ed I will click it and check your link, because, you know ... I have that choice.

Thanks for reading guys, leave your comments. I want to see comments on both sides of the arguement, BUT I do wish that they are kept on the front page. Don't shush the editor because some people don't like "what they're doing to their characters". If WB and Marvel didn't want these movies to be made, they simply wouldn't be.
