FIRST LOOK!! New Ultimate Comics Re-Re Launch!!

I have posted earlier about the new re-relaunch of the Ultimate Comics Universe, now here are the first look at the covers of four of their titles.

I have posted earlier about the new re-relaunch of the Ultimate Comics Universe, now here are the first look at the covers of four of their titles. I guess cause of the death of Spider-Man they had to relaunch for a second time but the format, I must say, is a lot better, (I'm kind of OCD about that sort of thing). Looks awesome, let me know what you guys think.

First we have a look at the new 4-issue mini-series

Then we take another peak at Spidey's new Ultimate suit in the first issue cover of Ultimate Comics Spider-Man...again!!


Next is the first look at Ultimate Comics Ultimates #1 issue:


And last but certainly not least (that is if you are still a fan of the Ultimate U [Which I am]) We take a peak at this ASTONISHING cover of Ultimate Comics X-Men:


Now if you are an Ultimate fan you have got to be so excited to see this cause I feel that they are no longer trying to just cover up there Ultimatum failure, I feel now that they have accepted that they screwed up and now are just trying to move along. I'm stoked to see these images, hope you are too.

I'm glad they're back to the older style of covers. I'm going to check all of these out at the very least.

I am mainly an Ultimates fan and to see this has cheered me up no end!

Ultimate Cap was a bit meh but if ultimate Hawkeye is anything like the Ultimate Thor run I'll be chuffed as nuts!

I totally wouldn't mind getting hired by CBM to cover Ultimate stuff. lol

Damn years ago I got into Marvel characters through the Ultimate Universe I could not keep up and stopped. I have kept tabs on them and seen what has happened but I cannot get past the whole line ending then relaunching only to relaunch again two years later it stinks of a cheap promotional tactic.

I would love to read the Ultimate X Men book because it is someone else as Wolverine and Human Torch as an X Man is interesting and it is written by Nick Spencer but the others looks like a cash in for The Avengers and Bendis.
Not trying to troll but I just cannot understand this reboot after it seemed Marvel tried to kill it off years ago.

@AlReg I understand where you are coming from, but I think they feel the need to switch it up after everytime something drastic affects the Universe, you should start going out and buying the trades, that's how I kept up so I'm a little behind on actually reading them but I'm on the latest news.

Is the ultimate wolverine , wolverines son? logan died in the ultimate comics right??

Yeah Logan is still dead as far as I know, the main x-men are going to be wolverine's son, human torch, ice man, kitty, rogue, and jean/karen grant.

SWEET! i dont know i like the ultimate comics because they can change things quite a bit, fresh take and we still have our 616 the same!

Yeah that;s why I don't always understand all the hating on Ultimate comics cause it's not hurting the original continuity. Some people just look for reasons to be mad though. Have you read post-Ultimatum comics?

@Ultimateironangelx, I loved the first ultimate x-men run, but they should leave it at that. Wolverine's son is not that interesting, and since when is the human torch a mutant?

Ultimate hawkeye looks [frick]ing awesome though, they should give him that look in main continuity. Just my humble opinion :).

And i did like ultimate spiderman in the beginning, haven't been paying that much attention to it since fire and ice...sorry Human torch and Ice man moved in. But i take it from this he died. So who replaced him? Let me guess...ultimate ben reily?

Damn, totally forgot there's allready an ultimate ben reily out there. But who knows, maybe the new spiderman is Miguel o'hara or someting :P

@Spilox Yeah Ultimate Spider-Man is shot by the Punisher from what I've heard (I usually just wait till the trades come out) and Brian Michael Bendis said he's done a lot of studying on spiders so this new character will have more spider-esque powers.

I would like to believe that this new Spidey is just a Shield cover up to protect Parker's family since they were attacked by the Sinister Six. And that the new powers developed cause Peter all along was a mutant and the spider-bite just kind of nudged the mutant gene in the direction. I think it could work, I don't think it'll happen but it could work.

As far as the X-Men go I don't think it's so much about mutants to an extent but the news I read about says that they're more trying to protect each other than save the world. Johnny Storm is good friends with both Kitty and Bobby so it makes sense why he would stick with them especially since Peter died. Of course, a solo series of Ultimate Comics Human Torch would be cool too.

As far as Ultimate Hawkeye goes, I hope it does so well that they decide to make it an ongoing series cause Ultimate Comics has made me fall in love with that character.

Looking good, but not completely sold on Wolverine. I liked how they were different by making him look bad@$$ without a mask or the color yellow

Well, in its defense, they probably wanted to keep Wolverine without keeping Ultimate Wolverine. I mean Logan's dead, and the fact that he wears the yellow costume with a mask is good. The costume shows his young immaturity which is kind of hinted at about costumes in the Ultimate U. As far as the mask goes, mutants are hunted down by the government makes, since why he wouldn't want people to see his face.

One may say why would Kitty do the same thing? Well people in the Ultimate U know who the girl who can walk through walls is, there's no since in hiding her face.

I'm stoked though.

That is probably the way that Captain America and Hawkeye will look in the Avengers movie. I don't mind Wolverine, it's an interesting throwback to his first appearance, but I absolutely hate the new Spider-Man costume.

before i say anything, i do really like the ultimate series, i have read post ultimatum spiderman and im still reading it now, and i have read thors and captain americas solos and all of the ultimate avengers, not read any xmen or ultimates maybe ill pick up the novels at some point, but why does it look like the ultimates are trying to be the movie ones, and whats with icemans new era style cap lol.

has anyone else noticed that spiderman is only using one finger to activate his webbing? must be someone else then.

ultimate hawkeye is pretty cool, i dont like the way he look on that front cover but i usually do. i quite like the new ultimate look, it reminds me of the old run a bit.

The comics look...typical.

But what's driving me crazy is this:
"...now here ARE the first look at the covers of four of their titles."

And this: "Then we take another PEAK at Spidey's new Ultimate suit..."

Annnnd this: "...this CAUSE I feel that they are no longer trying to just cover up THERE Ultimatum failure..."

Who the heck is posting this stuff with these obvious errors?!?! well, okay, the "cause" isn't as obvious (But the word should have an apost and should be "'cause").

I'm seeing this kind of thing more and more frequently on this site. (I'm an editor/writer for a living -- stupid errors drive me bonkers.)

Back on point, why/how is the Ultimate-verse starting over? I stopped paying attention to those books about six years ago now. I think I've read they're killing Spider-Man in the Ultimate books, but to restart all the books? Are they just pretending nothing ever happened?

@Phlegmbot they were just a couple typos dude, don't flip out. Try picking up some Ultimate stuff again too if want to know what's going on. Otherwise, don't worry about reading.

If you pay attention to Captain America and Thor, they don't really look like the movie verse. On the cover, Thor is sleeveless and capeless and Cap has his ears uncovered and there aren't all those leather straps hanging on him. Iron Man though, does look like the movie version of himself. But that's not a bad thing, I'd rather him look like that than a LEGO monkey lol

You know, I've received several awards for my excellence in writing from middle school through highschool and on up. Sorry if you can't forgive my first draft of the page. I actually would have caught those errors and I would have changed them, but my page didn't go onto the fansite I wanted it to so for some reason I was unable to edit the page. But really, I wasn't too worried about it, I mean I see administrator posts that have typos all the time. This wasn't about what or how I wrote, I just rushed through it so that I could have fun and show people the new covers of these comics. That's all I wanted. You don't have to be a prick about it cause yeah, I'm a tad bit offended since my writing has always been my shine-through talent. But you're an editor you said right? Doesn't that mean you edit people's mistakes, I mean seriously you have to see typos all the time. Get off your high horse...you're on a comicbook fansite.

So srry if u dont lik my format! thxs bud lol jk
