I dressed as Jack Sparrow for a party the other day, but I'm very drunk in all the photos, and the costume is tacky, so I'm not posting them. I thought I'd share that pointless bit of info with you all.

I'm dressing as Joker next year (Arkham City inspired) but I have a limited budget, and I'm going to try and make it throughout the year. Anyone got any suggestions on what to include, and what other versions (not movie versions) of the character to look at for inspiration?

I was going to go as Grandpa Gustafson from that Jack Lemmon/ Walter Matthau movie, but I found out from a police friend of mine that this Gusto character was wanted for lewd acts with farm animals and owed $750 to a magazine called Mature Mamas.

Needless to say, I couldn't live up to those standards of success so I opted to go as a red-headed Brit by the name of T. Bag. Apparently the crimes against him only factor in if I lived across the pond.
