HeadPool420 - 6/13/2013, 11:51 AM

Money first, guarantees better sequels and a JLA movie
Ramiel - 6/13/2013, 11:52 AM
No one can deny that money is more important. That's all WB cares about so they can establish their own DCU. While MOS won't be a critically acclaimed film, it's still going to make bank. You can't have your cake and eat it too, ladies and gents.
Brainiac13 - 6/13/2013, 11:52 AM
I care for Supes and JLA!
PabloMansini - 6/13/2013, 11:54 AM
I want both. I'm greedy. @hope24- lucky git I'm watching it in about 20 hours
MrMartinMarvel - 6/13/2013, 11:54 AM
@rocky It can only be one or the other, even if one could lead to the other.
wcwpoet - 6/13/2013, 11:55 AM
Superman Returns isn't a good example that movie was boring as hell and flat out terrible. I think a movie can have a balance of being good and still make bank. Look at the Dark Knight series, and the MCU. I rather it be good than those God awful films Humans feat. Robots posing as Transformers.
GOTG - 6/13/2013, 11:56 AM
Money, im sorry but i want a JL film and a DC character film of the other JL members bar bats and supes.

I'd would prefer a good story superman rather than it making money because it will still be successful. If done right with a compleling story with action to entertain it would get money. I do not get why people complain? Superman returns was a well done film with good story but it lack action. Man of steel however based on the trailers, it has more action than story.

Superman as a character is hard to right, I would be satisfied so as long as it has a good and decent story with some entertaining value. Action and some smart and cool scenes, just don't give me a dumb story like transformers revenge of the fallen crap.

Either way no matter how these filmmakers make a movie people well always complain. Either that they have too much high expectation based on there own hype. Enternet had change and so as the critics based on some of there own bias opinions. I'm a DC fan but I will admit its a marvel world.

I'll go see it tomorrow and judge it for my self.
antoineflemming - 6/13/2013, 11:58 AM
By the way, for RT, look at the top critics/audience liked it scores, not the all critics scores. half of those d-bags are only complaining because the movie is not like donner's film. Don't believe me, just go look at the actual reviews, because they are looking for things in the film that were present in Donner's films. But I'd like a good superman film that will make a lot of money, at least enough that will push WB to make JLA, Flash, Aquaman, and WW, as well as a Batman reboot that has a grounded Batman (as in batman himself, not his villains or environment) yet is true to the character.
gamecreatorjj - 6/13/2013, 12:03 PM
It's hard not go with $$$, because without that, we'll never see flash, wonder woman, justice league

but i'd rather have a great film without sequels, and than a transformers
rocky - 6/13/2013, 12:04 PM
MrMartinMarvel

OK if one can't lead to the other
guess.....searching my heart.........
money then since it guarantees a sequel.

But only by a percent of a percent
because I may be so disgruntled that I won't care about a sequel
EpitomeofAwesome - 6/13/2013, 12:11 PM
World's Finest Movie. Please God.
Kevinwillpeabodyproperties - 6/13/2013, 12:12 PM
Guys if man of steel doesn't make money we will get nothing!!! Except a batman reboot in a loooong time. I'm sorry but I want it to make money. I can have 1 film be decent if others follow. However I would be depressed in man of steel was amazing and then we get nothing......would be the biggest tease ever
sups92 - 6/13/2013, 12:13 PM
I'm seeing it in 4 hours
NOLANITE - 6/13/2013, 12:14 PM
This is a trick poll. How can i go with quality and not care about JL.
HanBurgundy - 6/13/2013, 12:14 PM
This is the dumbest poll EVER......and the fact that, as of this moment, the poll is even remotely close (let alone, almost tied) in votes is just further proof that the world is actually getting dumber.

Yeah, congrats to all you idiots who actually voted on having a bad superman movie as long as it makes money.
Yeah, that's great, let's all celebrate mediocracy, so that one really terrible movie can inspire the studios to go and create more shitty movies.

A bunch of Einsteins in this forum. Bravo.
HanBurgundy - 6/13/2013, 12:25 PM
Anyone with half a brain would know that it's better to have a phenomenal first installment that doesn't go on to have sequels and doesn't make any money at the box-office (and actually get enjoyment out of watching it for years and years to come).....As opposed to watching a crappy movie, actually being dumb enough to support it time and time again and watch as the studios take the money made from that and create more crappy sequels to the crappy first installment.

It's no wonder there are so many terrible movies being made these days.
KeefNCookies - 6/13/2013, 12:26 PM
The thing is... I have absolute faith in Snyder and know this will pull cash. The biggest issue is the story because the action is covered and there cant be any weak story detracting from all the awesome.
jtown904 - 6/13/2013, 12:37 PM
I voted money. Lets face it, it can win every award out there but if doesn't make money, we'll never see Justice league, Aquaman, Flash, or a good Green Lantern.
ralfinader - 6/13/2013, 12:42 PM
[frick] the money. Besides, if the movie captures the fans like this poll suggests, it could become a cult classic, and even get a resurgance or ressurection from bluray & dvd sales, and those crazy fanboys and girls that barrage studios and networks with demands for more.
DanteSparda - 6/13/2013, 12:49 PM
Like the Joker said "Its not about the money, its about sending a message"
CaptainProg - 6/13/2013, 12:59 PM
Seeing it tomorrow!! Can’t believe is finally here!!
TheAbaryMan369 - 6/13/2013, 1:08 PM
That's tough. I want the movie to be great, but no money means no sequel.........
Tevii - 6/13/2013, 1:08 PM
I think we all NEED it to make big money if we want anymore CBMs out of WB.

Of course I want a great story, but I still want a great Batman franchise too. and i DEFINITELY want a great Green Lantern one day. But because the last Batman films made so much money, we still have the possiblity to finally get good batman, GL, JLA or Superman films
exe - 6/13/2013, 1:09 PM
The poll is invalid. Though not HQ, MOS is still quality movie imo, and will make a ton of money.

Is it a good Superman movie? [frick] YEAH it is.
76cidgrad - 6/13/2013, 1:19 PM
I was excited about this movie, but after seeing the dismal ratings from the critics, I think I'll wait a few weeks to see if the reviews from the public are positive. Can't trust the fanboys. They'll swoon over anything DC (or Marvel) cranks out. Don't want to waste my time or money on another Green Lantern, Ghost Rider, or Jonah Hex...
Bobbywoodhogan - 6/13/2013, 1:46 PM
Most importantly is a good film not no $$$$ no sequel slim gonna vote money cause I'm pretty convinced its already a great film.
druzod2501 - 6/13/2013, 2:33 PM
us fans can argue all we want about desiring quality in films but we all know that without money that quality doesn't stand for jackshit. I personally want to see more Superman on the screen not a one and done even if it's great. So if I have to sacrifice a little bit of quality for more quantity so be it.
Manhunter - 6/13/2013, 2:59 PM
Money is the only reason anyone does anything in this town.
TheOther - 6/13/2013, 7:26 PM
It's all about the money money money, cha-ching cha-ching.
We need moolah for further installments.
