Speaking with Zap2It, iconic composer John Williams talks about June 14th's Man Of Steel. Among the many memorable movie scores he composed was the 1978 Superman film, so what does he think of this new installment starring the legendary character (which will be composed by Hans Zimmer)? "I haven't seen it, but I'm sure it will be wonderful. I don't know if they've used any of the original music or not; it's a Warner Bros. film, in which case, they certainly have the right to do so (having also made the earlier 'Superman' movies). I hope it will be successful, and I look forward to seeing it." However, he admits that watching this new film will be be "bittersweet", not entirely because of the new music, but because of Christopher Reeve's excellent performance as Superman. "It puts me in mind of the late Chris Reeve, who we all loved so much.

UPDATE: Superman Is "Kind Of Hot" In 3 New MAN OF STEEL TV Spots (Low-Res)

Some purists were a little annoyed by this, but let's be honest, the more female characters in Tolkien's testosterone fueled Middle Earth the better -- and it doesn't hurt that she's being played by someone the caliber of Lilly. Speaking to Total Film the Canadian actress spoke a little about "young" Tauriel, and from the sounds of things we'll be in for a much grittier she-elf than either Cate Blanchett's Galadriel or Liv Tyler's Arwen.

Storm looks to be a key figure in the book, but what about a solo series for the character. Marvel Comics E-I-C Axel Alonso said there are no plans currently for such a series. "Storm is a key part of "X-Men," "Uncanny X-Force" -- edited by the second biggest Storm fan in the world, Daniel Ketchum -- and "Wolverine and the X-Men," so those are the places for Storm character stuff. No plans for a solo series of any sort right now, though.

If you do not know this by now, it should be common knowledge that the Captain America: The Winter Soldier production in Cleveland is shutting down 3.5 miles of highway closure on the Memorial Shoreway.

Previously, The Daily SuperHero reported a city government official had said, "There will be more car action in Captain America than all past Marvel Studios movies combined." Along with another report saying that the Shoreway will be shut down to film an extensive car action scene.

After digging and digging for more detailed information on these reports about the Shoreway, it can now be confirmed—by a local business owner who was given a letter from the Cap 2 production company—there will indeed be a car action sequence. (You can see a photo of this letter below.)

In the letter it clearly states, "We will film car chase scenes and stunt sequences with gunfire on the Shoreway."

That was my first foray into greenscreen work and CGI and stuff. Nothing compared to this, but at least it was a bit of a warm-up.”
