Series 8 of the hit BBC ONE show is just three episodes in and already actress Jenna Coleman has indeed Confirmed that series 9 will start filming in january saying “They start filming in January.” . Look at what she said They start filming Could this mean that the actress is leaving in this years christmas special. Speaking of which it was confirmed by that episodes director Paul Wilmhurst on his twitter page that the episode started filming yesturday with a tweet saying.

Start shooting Dr Who Xmas Special tomorrow. Will surface again in four weeks. Fingers crossed all goes according to plan...

@batman001 Cool article. I think Danny Pink will be an interesting addition but I can't see them adding him without keeping Clara or adding another female companion. It just wouldn't feel like Doctor Who without at least one female companion.
