While James Gray's mysterious sci-fi space epic
Ad Astra won't be out in theaters until September, Walt Disney Studios and 20th Century Fox have just shared an intriguing new TV spot with fresh footage as Academy Award-winner Brad Pitt (
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) races against the clock to uncover his father's (Tommy Lee Jones) secrets in order to save the solar system and the world as we know it.
The film will follow Roy McBride (Brad Pitt), an astronaut who traverses the solar system in a bid to find his long lost father (Tommy Lee Jones), while simultaneously uncovering the shocking truth behind the failure of his dad's initial mission, which, according to the trailers, involved searching for extraterrestrial life.
