Blunt-Cruise Star On Two New Character Posters From Doug Liman's EDGE OF TOMORROW

Two new character posters from the upcoming sci-fi epic Edge of Tomorrow have just been released featuring close-ups of the exo-suits worn by stars Tom Cruise & Emily Blunt in the film. Come check it out! The film directed by Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity) releases June 6th.

Oscar nominee Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt star in Warner Bros. Pictures' and Village Roadshow Pictures' sci-fi thriller "Edge of Tomorrow," under the direction of Doug Liman. The epic action of "Edge of Tomorrow" unfolds in a near future in which an alien race has hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault, unbeatable by any military unit in the world.

Major William Cage (Cruise) is an officer who has never seen a day of combat when he is unceremoniously dropped into what amounts to a suicide mission. Killed within minutes, Cage now finds himself inexplicably thrown into a time loop—forcing him to live out the same brutal combat over and over, fighting and dying again…and again. But with each battle, Cage becomes able to engage the adversaries with increasing skill, alongside Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski (Blunt). And, as Cage and Rita take the fight to the aliens, each repeated encounter gets them one step closer to defeating the enemy.

Edge of Tomorrow features:
Director: Doug Liman
Tom Cruise as Lt. Col. William "Bill" Cage
Emily Blunt as Rita Vrataski
Bill Paxton as General Farrell Bartolome
Jeremy Piven as Col. Walter Marx
Lara Pulver as Karen Lord
Marianne Jean-Baptiste as Dr. Whittle
Jonas Armstrong as Skinner
Kick Gurry as Griff
Kidus Henok as Lewis
Tony Way as Kimmel
Madeleine Mantock as Julie
Dragomir Mrsic in an unspecified role
Charlotte Riley in an unspecified role
Franz Drameh in an unspecified role

Edge of Tomorrow hits theaters June 6, 2014.

Oh my. Is there any genre that Emily can't SLAY?
She's by far one of the most talented and beautiful actresses out there.

She would've been the most perfect Black Widow. Just her face screams Black Widow.
Emily has to do a CBM soon!

It really would've been interesting to see her take as the Black Widow.

If only she could have been Black Widow . . . .

This will be a way better adaptation of a soap opera than dark Shadows was.

Emily Blunt... Ironically, makes me rather sharp... Meaning she gives me boners :D

Dont get me wrong, Emily is gorgeous, decent actress and could have been a good Widow, but I really dont give a [frick] that she never became the Widow. All of you seem to have a short memory or never read the interviews where she implied comic book movies were beneath her. I hate actors like her and Jason Statham who hate comic book movies, like they make any better movies...

I hear you dancingmonkey.

Yet still think she would've made a good black widow. The point is moot now after Cap2 though - ScarJo owns the role now, she totally took charge.
