Brief Description Of New Trailer For Chris Nolan's INTERSTELLAR

Christopher Nolan, the director behind The Dark Knight and Batman Begins, is back with a new film, Interstellar. Come read a description of the new trailer which should land in theaters with Gareth Edward's Godzilla later this month.

Earlier today, those that attended the showing of “Hubble 3D” at the IMAX theater in the National Air and Space Museum (Washington, DC), were lucky enough to witness the new trailer for Christopher Nolan's upcoming film, Interstellar. Why did it makes debut there? As you know, Nolan has shunned digital, and the Lockheed Martin IMAX Theater is one of the few theaters that still uses film. If you happen to live in the area, there's good news, the trailer will play before each IMAX film for the foreseeable future. If you're not nearby, check out this brief description of it.
“After a brief announcement, the trailer unspooled to show Matthew McConaughey driving his truck through corn fields while a lush orchestral score swelled in the background. Later, the fields had caught fire, an ominous dust cloud could be seen looming over a baseball game, and McConaughey (playing a character named Cooper) was reassuring his daughter that he loved her — right before being shot into space in order to save the world.” - The Washington Post

Official Synopsis - The adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.

INTERSTELLAR - Directed and co-written by Christopher Nolan (“Inception,” “The Dark Knight” Trilogy), a script based on the combination of an original idea by Nolan and an existing script by Jonathan Nolan. The cast includes: Matthew McConaughey (“Magic Mike”), Anne Hathaway (“Les Miserables”), Jessica Chastain (“Zero Dark Thirty”), Bill Irwin (“Rachel Getting Married”), John Lithgow (“Rise of the Planet of the Apes”), Casey Affleck (“Gone Baby Gone”), David Gyasi (“Cloud Atlas”), Wes Bentley (“The Hunger Games”), Mackenzie Foy (“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Parts 1 and 2”) Timothée Chalamet (TV’s “Homeland”), Topher Grace (“Spider-Man 3”), David Oyelowo (“Jack Reacher”), Ellen Burstyn (“The Exorcist”), and Michael Caine (“The Cider House Rules”.The film will be released in IMAX® and 35mm theaters on November 7, 2014.

I forgot about this film to. Shows you the impression it made on me.
Pasto - 5/5/2014, 3:04 PM
Unless the second trailer isn't just showing me a man driving a pick-up in a field, I have no plans on seeing this.
MrBlackJack - 5/5/2014, 3:05 PM

Can't wait for this!!!
MrCBM56 - 5/5/2014, 3:05 PM

This is going to be beautiful. Nolan is pulling all the stops with IMAX!
MrCBM56 - 5/5/2014, 3:06 PM
Whoever complains about the TEASER trailer, has clearly forgotten what a tease is.
MrBlackJack - 5/5/2014, 3:07 PM

Comedian03 - 5/5/2014, 3:07 PM
I forgot about it too.
Which is surprisingly because the teaser trailer actually peaked my interest for it. Looking forward to seeing more and getting a better feel for what to expect.
sanyaya - 5/5/2014, 3:08 PM
Trailer better be good or am trashing it.
Omarvls - 5/5/2014, 3:08 PM

Interstellar and Guardians of the Galaxy are my top 2 most anticipated
Pasto - 5/5/2014, 3:09 PM
I know what a teaser trailer is. USUALLY a teaser trailer leaves you interested in the film, not bored.
marvel72 - 5/5/2014, 3:10 PM
i'll wait & see if i'm interested in this film after the trailer because at the moment i have zero interest in it.
MrBlackJack - 5/5/2014, 3:10 PM
Who, who said that?
sanyaya - 5/5/2014, 3:10 PM
So from the description it said it just a dude driving a truck and that's it
blackandyellow - 5/5/2014, 3:11 PM
Nolan's teaser trailers have never been very good. They don't show anything that gets you excited for the movie.

ALegendaryPanda - 5/5/2014, 3:15 PM
OH BOY I can't wait!!

teaser trailers do what they are supposed to do..tease!

Nolan is a great believer in this, even though he did it with the dark knight trilogy, we all knew the chracters in the movies and were able to decipher the movie but with movies like the prestige, memento, and inception we had no idea what the movie was about until you actually watched it, expect the same with this movie
AlexanderLykins - 5/5/2014, 3:57 PM
Can someone give me an idea of what this is about.
Pasto - 5/5/2014, 3:57 PM

thewonderer - 5/5/2014, 3:58 PM
God forbid the Interstellar teaser not show everything in the movie. In fact, I'm glad it only showed one or two shots of footage. It presented the ideas and themes of the film without giving anything away. That's genius and we need more of these kinds of trailers.
AlexanderLykins - 5/5/2014, 3:59 PM
That sounds kind of cool. Space movies are always fun.
DrunkenNukem - 5/5/2014, 3:59 PM
Another epic film from the master

and now with M. McConaughey.
alijoe - 5/5/2014, 4:03 PM
