2nd one is pretty cool. That 3rd one though is pretty awesome.
sarahsatire - 1/12/2012, 1:54 PM
I see Jar Jar was left out of the posters.

Hmm.. I wonder why..

"Hey, let's release Episode 1 in 3d!"

"Why?"

"Mr Lucas wants more cash."

"But everyone hated the movie. It won't make any money!"

"Then we will whore out the ONLY character anyone gave a shit about and the dumb asses will pay to be disappointed all over again!"

"But people will still say its shit."

"Yes, but Mr Lucas will have their cash by then!"

nowtheresaBATman - 1/12/2012, 1:56 PM
@tea hilariousity!
HavocPrime - 1/12/2012, 1:56 PM
@Teabag - LMAO!!

"I don't know why Maul is in the front and center of everything.
He only had a total of like 5 minutes of screen time, only had like two lines, and went out like a dumbass."

THIS!

Thirded

NerdyGeek - 1/12/2012, 1:57 PM

George, You ain't getting anymore of my money.... You've milked this franchise for far too long!!
NerdyGeek - 1/12/2012, 1:59 PM
JAR JAR BINKS IN 3D
Pontius888 - 1/12/2012, 1:59 PM
I'm going to see it anyway....
RorMachine - 1/12/2012, 2:00 PM
That first one is actually a really nice poster. But I digress..

Horrible movie.
SpiderBat209 - 1/12/2012, 2:00 PM
Darth Maul, the underwater Monsters, and the final Lightsaber Battle were the ONLY good things about this film! Oh, yeah! And E.T.'s cameo was pretty Cool. :)
marvel72 - 1/12/2012, 2:02 PM
the 2nd & 3rd posters are good,shame the movies aren't.
GodzillaKart - 1/12/2012, 2:03 PM
Is anybody planning to waste money going to see this?
HKFanatic - 1/12/2012, 2:03 PM
I know I'm in the minority but I think Episode I is the only halfway 'good' movie of the prequel trilogy. That said, it's still not very good and I doubt I'll pay to see it in 3-D.
krooklyndodger - 1/12/2012, 2:03 PM
All these posters are awesome. The prequels may be my least favs of the entire series, but I love watching the prequels all the same.
technodrome518 - 1/12/2012, 2:14 PM
the posters are more entertaining then the actual movie

I will never forget the fun I had in the theater with all those fans that night in 1999, especially the fat guy dressed as Darth Maul or the young lovers dressed as Jar Jar Binks and Yoda (the girl was Jar Jar....). It's the only reason I like Episode 1. I recognize that it dumbed down the franchise but I still like it. It was the first Star Wars I ever experienced in the theater and it was more epic than most film that came out in 2011. I was a kid, Lucas was a god for introducing the franchise to my generation. I will see this film. An 18-month stereoscopic conversion is James Cameron acceptable standard. And a digital Yoda will be nice to see. Not to mention I agree with you guys about Darth Maul being at the forefront of these posters. It's tacky. I like the fourth poster because it shows the intensity and is engaging.
JDUKE25 - 1/12/2012, 2:36 PM
I thought Episode I wasn't that bad. Maul was a bada$$, the lightsaber fights were great, the pod-racing scene was good. Obviously Jar Jar sucked, and Maul's ending wasn't the greatest. But still, I enjoyed it.
Spidey91 - 1/12/2012, 2:45 PM
@TheIrishAvenger

ahh,Angry Joe,the voice of the truth
that dude is funny :P
ElBicho - 1/12/2012, 2:52 PM
@Ron

100% correct.
95 - 1/12/2012, 2:54 PM
I like the poster @teabag posted. LOL.
Vadakin - 1/12/2012, 2:56 PM
I like the Star Wars prequels so Lucas will be getting my money. Yes. I'm one of those guys. My abiding memory of seeing that film for the first time is that it got a standing ovation at the end. First time I'd ever seen that for a movie.

The worst thing about The Phantom Menace isn't in the film itself. The worst thing is that it's now impossible to have a civilized conversation about Star Wars on the internet. I find that sad.
headlopper - 1/12/2012, 3:06 PM
Mr. Plinkett...WE NEED YOU!!!!!
SimyJo - 1/12/2012, 3:08 PM
This 3d StarWars redux; - This will neither recoup its development cost at theatres nor on 3d Blu-ray. Its a dead-in-the-water turkey that has not been thought through properly.
Vadakin - 1/12/2012, 3:15 PM
Plinkett's review was a crock. Funny? Absolutely. Accurate? Hell no. There's quite a lot that can be complained about in TPM but Plinkett spent most of his time nitpicking over small things he claimed made no sense when in fact they did. He just wasn't paying attention.
headlopper - 1/12/2012, 3:16 PM
@Vadakin- We've had that. Don't exaggerate.

I'm not sure you've seen these reviews, but if not check them out. Here's the link:

Click the theater posters to watch the review.
headlopper - 1/12/2012, 3:22 PM
So you HAVE seen them. Okay.

Then this all boils down to you simply enjoying the movies for what they were.
NeoBaggins - 1/12/2012, 3:33 PM
The off-centered saber blade on the second poster is just sorry. And what's up with Mad-Eye Maul? Are they advertising one of the photoshop artist as Ray Park?
headlopper - 1/12/2012, 3:37 PM
@Intruder - What? Very cool!

I know he's bright by virtue of his ability to combine absolute facts with clever, sophisticated humor all rolled up in film review form. I admire the man greatly!

Good on ya man!

RorMachine - 1/12/2012, 3:38 PM
Vadakin, he does nit pick for comedic effect but I wouldn't say anything he says is inaccurate. Like Headlopper said it's just come down to what you're willing to accept/look over/forgive in a movie.
Moakynubs - 1/12/2012, 3:42 PM
Is that last one... Thor? wat?
RorMachine - 1/12/2012, 3:42 PM
By the way, in case you guys didn't know, Plinkett is Mike , the dude on the left..not the guy playing Plinkett in this video.

Xeetor - 1/12/2012, 3:54 PM
Now THIS is podracing!
Flashito - 1/12/2012, 3:58 PM
IF...IF....and only if.. Jar Jar is out of the movie or the voice and personality are changed, I might consider to sit trough this cosmic fiasco once more even if it is in 3D.
siggisuperman - 1/12/2012, 3:59 PM
I really want to see it in 3d... but i just can't bear to give Lucas more of my money...
