First Firefly is cancelled, then Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Human Target, and V are cancelled, then Smallville is completed, then Chuck is cancelled, now Fringe is being cancelled... It's been a sad decade for TV...

At least Firefly and Smallville became comics...

I really used to love this show. It's just trash now, trapped into a bad place by the writing. There were easily 4 or 20 better places to take these characters then the hell they ended up in. The premier was bad bad baddie, the watchers becoming the bad guys... dumb. I'll save the other dumb spoilers for next week when it's safe. Anyone that reads this site could write better and this show deserved better. Remember how cool the red side of things was... remember the show for what it was... not what it is...

@Mobrex Did you even watch Season 4? They ended the Parallel Universe arc because they wanted to try other things, they have no idea that they would only get one more season... The show is still very very good and I would highly recommend it to any fan of comic books, science fiction, and great television.

@Mobrex just cos they didnt go with your "4 or 20" ideas doesnt mean its not good. The Observers have always had an ominous feeling about them and this is where its brought us. And its hard to remember the show for "what it was" because they shook it up each season, adding something different each time, thats why this show has been consistently great.

all good things must come to an end........

-breaking bad (final season)
-fringe (final season)

at least we've got some good shows continuing.

-game of thrones
-the walking dead
-american horror story
-true blood
Mobrex - 9/30/2012, 12:38 PM
@MJPETTY7 yeah I've watched them all, I thought they quit the parallel universe arc because they had no idea what the hell they were doing there anymore. I couldn't tell what the end point was... stuff like that is the reason you only get one more season... my beef is a great show became only a good one and now it's gonna end as a bad one. This is a fringe team here not a time traveling x-men unit(well Olive is sorta one now). Observers now complaining that it could take weeks to get something made!!! These guys walk through time like we do shopping malls. I'm watching til the end for sure but I can't recommend it anymore so I'm sad.

Id say they cut the parallel universe because; it had reached its natural conclusion, it probably cost them alot to keep changing sets and wanted the story focused back on our team. And they get 1 more season because more people watch reality tv, it would have been cancelled ages ago if not for the love from fans and critics. My explanation for the observers not moving though time is that it would affect other observers and maybe create more paradoxes, which would mess up what theyve been planning for ages.

fair enough. i'm here til the end anyhow. hope it's good.
