J.J. Abrams Futuristic Android Cop Show Receives Pilot Order

Not much is known about the latest television project from J.J. Abrams (surprise, surprise) but the little that is known sounds very intriguing. Read on for more details on the latest sci-fi television show from Abrams' Bad Robot.

The Untitled show is said to be set in a far-flung future where every human cop is paired with an android partner. Raise your hand if you're hoping for a Blade Runner-esque feel to the show! The project is currently set up at Fox which will need something to replace the recently-wrapped Fringe. You have to wonder how much time Abrams will be able to devote to the project seeing as how he just signed on to direct one of the biggest movie franchises of all-time. J.H. Wyman (Fringe), Bryan Burk (Revolution, Alcatraz) and Abrams will serve as executive producers. More details as the story develops.
