JURASSIC WORLD Director Teases Our First Glimpse At A Dinosaur

Colin Trevorrow has posted a new image to his Twitter account, teasing the first reveal of one of his Jurassic World dinos. It's just a silhouette of a pair of jaws -- but a very large, razor sharp pair of jaws! Is this the returning T-Rex...or a brand new predator? Check out the image and see what you make of it..

Our first official stills from Jurassic World left many fans a little disappointed that there were no dino shots, and perhaps by way of placating those fans, director Colin Trevorrow has taken to Twitter and posted the below image. Obviously it's not an actual dinosaur pic but it's the closest we've gotten so far! Maybe a full reveal isn't far away.

Jurassic World comes to theaters June 12th, 2015 and stars Ty Simpkins, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Chris Pratt, Vincent D'Onofrio, Irrfan Khan, B.D. Wong, Omar Sy. The film is directed by Colin Trevorrow.

The effects on this movie will be just sick, and the cast will also be pretty impressive. Let's hope the script is actually good.

2015 in a nutshell!

Do you see the water on the floor there. It looks like an indoor aquatic containment area. I'm sure the thing can rear its head above the water level.

I'm getting more and more exciting about this, despite my own attempts to keep my expectations reasonable. There's literally no way this could be as bad as Jurassic Park III, and Trevorrow really sounds like he's got a good grasp of what made the first movie such a classic. If this makes me feel anywhere close to how I felt when I watched Jurassic Park, it'll be mission accomplished.

Don't draw conclusions about the size of its jaws based solely upon this picture. It's a shadow cast at a sharp angle. The "narrow" lower jaw looks small b/c of the perspective of the camera.
Mike89 - 6/17/2014, 8:23 PM
Reminds me of the Spinosauraus from Jurassic Park 3.

When I think about how far the movie industry has come in terms of special effects, I just cant [frick]ing wait to see how this movie is gonna turn out.

Does anyone know what FX studio is doing the work? I'd shit my pants with excitement if it was the same house that did Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
JackRyan9859 - 6/17/2014, 8:28 PM
cool....I hope they still use animatronics and CGI
MileHighRonin - 6/17/2014, 8:29 PM

Also can get some raptors with feathers, always loved raptors but once I heard they believe some had feathers I was like make another Jurassic park with those raptors.

Looking forward to this. Hopefully the film will be great.

I also like the fact that the film will be using practical effects as well as cgi.
