I like the Jaws one.

Et is a good one too but not as original. Sick though

Jaws one is awful... Take away the Title "Jaws" and can you tell me what film it is? No.

The ET one however is stunning... Iconic Image to a classic film!

@Man OfKrypton I could've told you it was Jaws. The quote, the truck, the little boy playing in the sand. It's pretty obvious.
ManOfKrypton - 1/16/2013, 1:46 PM
@DylansMyDog - It's obvious to the movie buff which film it is... But you take that poster to an average joe without any wording and quotes... and they'll be clueless.

Do the same with E.T. and I'm willing to bet the Majority will get it first time!

@manofkrypton the mondo posters aren't really made for the average joe. they're made for movie buffs

Besides, it will sell out within 5 minutes

I have to agree with ManOfKrypton, I bet even some movie buffs would have missed Jaws without the title. I saw the familiar truck on a picture of "any" beach. If I didn't know it was Jaws, I would have missed the shark fin on the umbrella...

I'd love to sue this guy just to sue him

I love mondo posters. The Jaws one is great, it takes the viewer away from the shark, so you don't really know what to expect. You can tell it's Jaws because of the orange and white truck by the lighthouse, and Scheiders little boy in the movie is there to the right of the umbrella.

E.T. is very unoriginal but still good.
Phlegmbot - 1/16/2013, 11:50 PM
There's NO implication of danger in the Jaws poster. That black section of umbrella would work better if it was just one person laying on the beach with the ocean behind them, giving the eye a little trick to play of whether the fin was coming out of the water or it was just a part of the umbrella. But, as it is, it just says...NOTHING about the movie.

I agree w/everyone else on the E.T. one -- not original but pretty nice.

Jaws doesn't hit the mark. I get the presentation, but there should be some form of menace to offset, and there's nothing.
