New Posters And Stills For Alfonso Cuaron's GRAVITY Released

Alfonso Cuaron's Gravity now has a UK release date of November 8th, and with it comes a couple of new posters and a batch of stills (a few of which we've seen before in a lower resolution) from the highly anticipated sci-fi flick. Hit the jump to check them out!

[Sandra] Bullock plays Dr. Ryan Stone, a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky [George Clooney] in command of his last flight before retiring. But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone–tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth…and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.

Sandra Bullock as Ryan Stone
George Clooney as Matt Kowalsky

The trailer for this looked incredible on a giant imax screen! Can't wait to see it.

The posters are pretty cool. Very simplistic but quite effective, like posters like this, instead of the usual cluster of actors.

Movie is going to be dope. Just imagine free floating in space without a single thing to hold on to.

Demongod20 - 8/19/2013, 8:00 AM
Can't wait to see this movie. To bad she has no superpowers :P

THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 8/19/2013, 8:04 AM
Don't see how two people floating in space could last for 2 hours.

Same how they did with "127 Hours" son...

I'm sure they'll show character background of Clooney's and Bullock's relationship with one another before the big incident occurs.

Are there aliens?
Jolt17 - 8/19/2013, 8:18 AM
Neill Blomkamp has disappointed me, big time. You're my only hope, Mr. Cuarón.

@Jolt17, same here man. I couldn't have been more let down by Elysium. I have higher hopes for Gravity though. Can't [frick]ing wait, I'm so excited.
Nubase - 8/19/2013, 10:59 AM
This will will redefine the sci fi genre, no aliens, no spaceships, no epic soundtrack, just these guys trying to survive in space, if you think about it there is nothing more scarier for a astronant to fear
BlanketMan - 8/19/2013, 11:12 AM
Saw this trailer before a couple of flicks this summer, and it elicited unintended chuckles from the audience every time. I don't think it conveyed the mood very well.
SnapperCarr - 8/19/2013, 11:41 PM
seems cool
gurugeorge - 8/20/2013, 9:20 AM
Soooo looking forward to this, looks like a "serious" s-f film, we haven't had one of those for a good long while.
