PACIFIC RIM SYNOPSIS - When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes-a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)-who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind’s last hope against the mounting apocalypse.

Pacific Rim was directed by Guillermo del Toro, from a script written by Travis Beacham. The cast includes Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day, Ron Perlman, Max Martini, Robert Kazinsky, Clifton Collins, Jr., Burn Gorman, Larry Joe Campbell, Diego Klattenhoff, and Brad William Henke. Now available on DVD & Blu-ray!

That clover leaf/lightning symbol is wicked. What Jaeger was that in the movie though?

Fight scenes and action were great...

Story sucked.

The whole 30 minutes spent on whether or not she would be the co-pilot when every one knew she would was just pathetic. That's just the biggest issue for me out of several.

This film was loads of cheesy fun, and about 1000x more entertaining than a Transformers mess.

I wish there where more robots it would have been fun to see more land fights and aerial fights. JUST MAKE A GUNDAM MOVIE ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those look cool, and the movie looked good too, but the story was shit. Also, the whole big plan by the humans at the end, was exactly like Independence Day......think about it.
