I am very excited for this movie!
Doopie - 5/8/2014, 9:41 AM
I'm interested in this because of Mcconaughey, thought he was amazing in Dallas Buyers Club
JoeMomma29 - 5/8/2014, 9:42 AM
I am personally not a Nolanite but we can all agree he is a very good director in general. Now for a quick disclaimer.........not all his movies are spot on or masterpieces.
MrBatmor - 5/8/2014, 9:42 AM
this movie is going to be something different!! that script was epic...cannot wait!!
Tony93 - 5/8/2014, 9:43 AM
shouldve been LEX
MarvelDCfanboy - 5/8/2014, 9:43 AM
I'm betting a best picture nomination.
JoeMomma29 - 5/8/2014, 9:44 AM
@ Batmor

I hope it is like Inception, even though Inception made my head hurt the first time around I think that movie is pretty amazing.
JoeMomma29 - 5/8/2014, 9:45 AM
@ Tony

There are a lot of great choices for LEX but I actually trust Snyder in his decision for casting Mr. Eisenberg. I am sure Snyder saw something that I or the masses cannot see just yet.

Remember they have these actors do a screen test with certain lines etc..... to get a good feel how that actor may or may not portray the character.
Doopie - 5/8/2014, 9:46 AM
I have to agree on Nolan. used to think he was a master but my opinion has slightly changed. He's still solid though and better than a lot of other directors. cough-Bay-cough
JoeMomma29 - 5/8/2014, 9:54 AM
@ Doopie

LOL! I have to disagree, Bay is a genius, he is the only dude that can make a really bad movie and yet it becomes a blockbuster and that movie usually gets sequals......cough, cough, con-man, cough!

MexicanSuperman - 5/8/2014, 9:54 AM
@Doopie, he was amazing in Dallas Buyers Club. That movie should have won the Oscar for movie of the year, and I'm not saying that because Dallas is my hometown.
MrBatmor - 5/8/2014, 9:54 AM
@joe i think it is complex than a different way!! cant wait how nolan does this..!!
SauronsBANE - 5/8/2014, 9:55 AM
"...ultimately, it's this very human story about a father and a daughter."

That's what I love about Nolan's movies. He gets it. He can craft the most visually amazing, most plot-dense, most compelling stories and movies...but he always manages to actually make it about the characters, first and foremost.

Sure, Inception was about dreams and layers and allegories for the actual process of filmmaking and all that. But it was really about a widower learning to let go of the past.

Batman? At its core, it was about a guy learning to deal with his parents' traumatic death and his passion for justice. The Prestige was about the rivalry between two magicians and how that obsession ruined their lives. Everything else is just window dressing compared to the actual emotional centers of the movies.

So Interstellar is going to be great because of the space travel and optimism about exploring and all that...but I can't wait to watch a movie that's really just about a father and his daughter.
JoeMomma29 - 5/8/2014, 9:56 AM
@ Batmor

It sounds like it, I enjoyed having some debates with my son over Inception so I hope this movie does the same.
JoeMomma29 - 5/8/2014, 9:56 AM
@ SauronsBane

ComicsBornAndBred - 5/8/2014, 10:32 AM
In the illustrious words of the modern era Bane( compliments of Nolan himself);

"You don't fear greatness Nolan, ou welcome it. Your praise must be more severe."
shamo - 5/8/2014, 10:36 AM
My only strike against Nolan is MOS. He shouldn't of chose and Snyder, he lacks the storytelling to control the DCCU, in my opinion.
Nomis - 5/8/2014, 10:36 AM
CaptainAmerica31 - 5/8/2014, 10:37 AM
All movies need to follow this marketing strategy. DONT SHOW SHIT SO PPL CAN WALK IN NOT BEING SPOILED
Mike89 - 5/8/2014, 10:37 AM
The premise of this movie sounds very ambiguous, but if anybody can pull off something like that its definitely Nolan.
Mike89 - 5/8/2014, 10:38 AM
ambitious** damn ipad.
AsianVersionOfET - 5/8/2014, 10:40 AM
Reading the script for this movie blew my mind. Made Inception look like the simplest most non-complex movie ever. I am way way too excited for this, can't wait to see the new trailer in IMAX before Godzilla.
