SAVE ME: Anne Heche is Talking to God

SAVE ME: Anne Heche is Talking to God

In midseason NBC will be launching the series Save Me, a comedy that stars Anne Heche as a woman who nearly dies but is saved - and then finds herself having a direct communication with God.

Describes NBC: Welcome to the Midwestern suburbs, where exciting things never happen. Well, almost never. After a near-death experience (choking on a hero sandwich), Beth is revived only to realize she now has a direct line to God. Of course, her husband Tom is skeptical and dismissive - and his mistress is all but hostile that her lover's wife is now a prophet! But when inexplicable things begin to happen, everyone's beliefs are tested. Beth starts to say and do things that shock her family and entrance her friends, but she isn't going to be your typical "fire and brimstone" prophet. Let's just say if God had a desperate housewife as His mouthpiece, Beth would be it! She is the absolute last person on Earth who would be chosen. Then again, they say He works in mysterious ways. And this one is a real mystery!

Emmy nominee Anne Heche stars in this uniquely spirited new comedy from John Scott Shepherd and Emmy-winning director Scott Winant ("Breaking Bad," "True Blood," "Californication").

I understand Video Games, Fantasy stuff, even anime and manga things of the sort. But TV shows? That have NOTHING to do with ComicBookMovie or anything endorsed with it's establishment.... A little far-fetched, don't you think?

I know CBM sometimes posts things out of Comic Book range, but 9/10 it's associated with the outer-layer topics like fantasy and sci-fi.

If this has any logical implication to the above, forgive me. But this just seems to be barren compared to the other articles.

TheGambitFreak, that's the reason this isn't on the front page. SciFi Media Zone is a page that we're gradually going to be building and it will be covering the genre on film and TV, but if the story doesn't in some way have a tie-in or appeal to the CBM audience, it will not be on the main.

They will need to come up with some pretty good storylines before this TV Series becomes stale pretty quick...
