Tom Cruise stars in OBLIVION, an original and groundbreaking cinematic event from the director of TRON: Legacy and the producer of Rise of the Planet of the Apes. On a spectacular future Earth that has evolved beyond recognition, one mans confrontation with the past will lead him on a journey of redemption and discovery as he battles to save mankind.

Jack Harper (Cruise) is one of the last few drone repairmen stationed on Earth. Part of a massive operation to extract vital resources after decades of war with a terrifying threat known as the Scavs, Jacks mission is nearly complete. Living in and patrolling the breathtaking skies from thousands of feet above, his soaring existence is brought crashing down when he rescues a beautiful stranger from a downed spacecraft. Her arrival triggers a chain of events that forces him to question everything he knows and puts the fate of humanity in his hands.

OBLIVION was directed by Joseph Kosinski, from a screenplay written by Karl Gajdusek and Michael deBruyn. The cast includes: Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman, Olga Kurylenko, Andrea Riseborough, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Melissa Leo. Now available on DVD & Blu-ray.

A crash landing leaves teenager Kitai Raige (Jaden Smith) and his legendary father Cypher (Will Smith) stranded on Earth, 1,000 years after cataclysmic events forced humanity’s escape. With Cypher critically injured, Kitai must embark on a perilous journey to signal for help, facing uncharted terrain, evolved animal species that now rule the planet, and an unstoppable alien creature that escaped during the crash. Father and son must learn to work together and trust one another if they want any chance of returning home.

AFTER EARTH is directed by M. Night Shyamalan, and the script was written by Gary Whitta and M. Night Shyamalan. The film stars Will Smith, Jaden Smith, Isabelle Fuhrman, and Zoë Kravitz.

Can't wait to see "After Earth" one day on TNT!
MrCBM56 - 12/3/2013, 7:45 PM

It doesn't deserve TNT, put that shit on TBS. One of the worst sci-fi films I've ever seen.

I enjoyed After Earth. Not the best acting, but a solid scifi story with a classic premise.

I Haven't seen After Earth yet, and it doesn't sound like i'm missing anything.
However, Oblivion sucked ass. WORST sci-fi movie since Prometheus.
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau looks like a bad-ass Han Solo in that concept art tho!

After Earth was a huge step up from the last four films Shaymalan did.....but that's not saying a whole lot.

I thought it was mediocre but nowhere near as bad as some people are saying. It falls around the same quality as Oblivion in terms of flat writing but some cool visuals.

Awesome art! I guess that must be Jaden's suit of pretentiousness.

Oblivion was a quality one-off sci fi film with an amazing soundtrack, the cinematography alone deserves an award. After earth was sh-t about Will Smith's son.
