Unused RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES Scenes In 2 Animated Storyboards

In 2011, 20th Century Fox struck box office gold with Rupert Wyatt's Rise of the Planets of the Apes. Hit the jump to see two animatics, that include the worst paper route in America, and the apes destroying more of the San Francisco's financial district.

Storyboards: Tim Burgard * Animatics: James Rothwell

Rise of the Planet of the Apes is a revolution; an action-packed epic featuring stunning visual effects and creatures unlike anything ever seen before. At the story's heart is Caesar (Andy Serkis), a chimpanzee who gains human-like intelligence and emotions from an experimental drug. Raised like a child by the drug's creator (James Franco), Caesar ultimately finds himself taken from the humans he loves and imprisoned. Seeking justice, Caesar assembles a simian army and escapes -- putting man and primate on a collision course that could change the planet forever.

This film was incredible. I thought it'd suck, but it's a favourite of mine.

i will never understand how people thought that this movie would suck. I was sold from the beginning when it was first announced and even more so after seeing the trailers. I thought it looked beyond incredible and it did not disappoint! now it's one of my favorite films of all-time! It completely reignited one of my favorite franchises! I cannot wait for Dawn and any other sequels that follow. LONG LIVE PLANET OF THE APES!
