Machinima have launched the first couple of 12 minute webisodes of the new BSG prequel series which focuses on a young William Adama in the first Cylon war. Any good? Click to have a look for yourselves and sound off in the usual place..

This highly anticipated chapter in the Battlestar Galactica saga takes place in the midst of the first Cylon war. As the battle between humans and their creation, the sentient robotic Cylons, rages across the 12 colonial worlds, gifted fighter pilot, William Adama (Luke Pasqualino, The Borgias), finds himself assigned to one of the most powerful battlestars in the Colonial fleet: the Galactica. Full of ambition and hungry for action, Adama quickly finds himself at odds with his co-pilot, the battle-weary officer Coker (Ben Cotton, Alcatraz). With only 47 days left in his tour of duty, Coker desires an end to battle as much as Adama craves its onset. Lili Bordán (Silent Witness) also stars.

Battlestar Galactica: Blood And Chrome will continue its run of 10 7-12 minute episodes on Machinima Prime, and then in 2013 the prequel will air as a two hour movie on Syfy before hitting DVD & Blu-ray.

First! Very cool! Nice to see BSG again. Will take some getting used too tho, but nice to see the old chrome toasters.

yay i had goosebumps when they showed Galactica flying by the civil ship! It was surprisingly good, but they use "frak" way too much, and there were scenes where the cgi was really awful, like when Adama was talking to that pedo-mustached Lt.

Really great to see more battlestar. Like you say the CG isnt to great at parts, but looks great where it matters. Shame there wont be a series from this.
