Watch The First Ten Minutes Of RIDDICK

Watch The First Ten Minutes Of RIDDICK

It didn't make the biggest of impacts at the box office when it was released last year, but to perhaps entice you into picking the Vin Diesel starrer up on Blu-ray, the first ten minutes of the movie have now been made legally available online. Hit the jump to check them out!

The infamous Riddick has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he's encountered. The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty. The first ship to arrive carries a new breed of merc, more lethal and violent, while the second is captained by a man whose pursuit of Riddick is more personal. With time running out and a storm on the horizon that no one could survive, his hunters won't leave the planet without Riddick's head as their trophy.

I haven't seen this movie thanks for the 1st 10 minutes of Riddick its good
TheGreenBastard - 1/4/2014, 6:01 PM
No thank you.
NinjaKickTheDamnRabbit - 1/4/2014, 6:09 PM
I enjoyed it as just a R rated sci-fi movie which we dont get that often anymore.
sameoldthing - 1/4/2014, 6:26 PM
It's a cool action sci fi pic.
If you disagree you have a twat between your legs.
SimpleeComplex - 1/4/2014, 6:28 PM
Vin Diesel's career might get a reboot with GOTG and he may have to keep doing these rehashes of the films that made him popular in the first place.
SimpleeComplex - 1/4/2014, 6:28 PM
May not have to*
Supes17 - 1/4/2014, 6:40 PM
I think he's doing fine with Fast & furious although I think the ending will be soon due to Paul Walker's death
NinjaKickTheDamnRabbit - 1/4/2014, 6:42 PM
Didn't he say he wanted Riddick in the MCU? I could have swore someone wrote that somewhere. I know Batista is playing Drax but I always saw Riddick as a good Drax knock off with different origins.
SuperCat - 1/4/2014, 7:18 PM
Thanks, Josh! I'll see the rest on TBS.
NovaCorpsFan - 1/4/2014, 7:32 PM

So basically if we disagree, we're women?
Visualiza - 1/4/2014, 7:33 PM
Meh. Movie was mediocre.
MattMan - 1/4/2014, 7:40 PM
That movie was awful.
thebearjew - 1/4/2014, 8:11 PM
is this the one where people are on an alien planet n the lights all go out n Riddick goes n kills the alien monsters? or was that the first one?
PunPun - 1/4/2014, 8:26 PM
This movie was great. Anyone who thinks otherwise probably watches QVC.
Nomis - 1/4/2014, 8:29 PM
Finally saw it the other night, and it was basically 'Pitch Black' Redux.

Although Karl Urban cameo was pretty cool.
MrDonut - 1/4/2014, 8:52 PM
Only thing I remember from this film is 'predator pink nipples' me and my mate we're laughing harder than we should've lol... But yh, pretty forgettable film, Vin's done and deserves better.
jondoe297 - 1/4/2014, 9:02 PM
I got to see the extended version of this movie and it's the ending that they should have used knowing Vaako is in the under-verse just opens so much for the next movie
loki668 - 1/4/2014, 10:23 PM

You may have to change your name to the "Pun"isher., too, shall see myself out.
Jollem - 1/4/2014, 10:31 PM

great riddick flick

Jollem - 1/4/2014, 10:42 PM
diesel will save gotg
Jollem - 1/4/2014, 10:53 PM
loki668 - 1/4/2014, 11:07 PM

Then the last twenty years must have been incredibly enjoyable for you, because that's what the Eagles excel at!
Luminus - 1/5/2014, 12:48 AM
Booooring. 10 minutes of him just running from alien dogs. Where's the story? Where's his army from the last film. I've been told this film is the worst out of the series and that is quite an accomplishment.
Jollem - 1/5/2014, 1:18 AM
"Where's the story? Where's his army from the last film."

well, if you watched the whole movie and not just 10 minutes you would have your questions specifically answered in full. food for thought next time
Luminus - 1/5/2014, 1:36 AM
If they had shown that part with the free 10 minutes, instead of that gratuitous CGI fest, then they might have actually gained another customer. How's that for food for thought?
Jollem - 1/5/2014, 1:52 AM
the cgi was good. especially for the budget. sorry that they didn't show you the whole movie in 10 minutes. one day the entitled brats will have everything they want, tho. keep your chin up
Luminus - 1/5/2014, 2:08 AM
^I didn't say show me the whole movie in 10 minutes. Maybe if you actually paid attention to what I said, your arguments would actually make sense.
Jollem - 1/5/2014, 2:14 AM
"Where's the story?"

"in the whole movie"

"If they had shown that part with the free 10 minutes..."

"they can't show the whole movie in ten minutes, tho"
Jollem - 1/5/2014, 2:15 AM
that's all i meant
Luminus - 1/5/2014, 2:26 AM
That's not what you said.

"Sorry that they didn't show you the whole movie in 10 minutes"

That is the correct quote. You replied sarcastically and then made an insult, which was probably funny, but highly unnecessary.

I wanted to buy this movie, but I'm turned off by the review I was given and the 10 minutes of nothing but running from alien dogs shown here. I'll just wait for Netflix.
SigmaCenturion - 1/5/2014, 2:30 AM
Movie was quite boring.
Jollem - 1/5/2014, 2:41 AM
but what i said was the point i was trying to make clear. a valid one, i still think. so...i said it and i meant it

sarcastically, yes. sarcasm is basically considered civility in this harsh jungle from what i gather

insult, yes. unnecessary, entirely

apologies. i'm just used to dealing with nasty creatures here

funny, no. i suck 'cause i like stupid things

my quick review, if you care

if you liked pitch black, you will probably like it. if you like riddick and his universe, you will probably like it. it's riddick doing what he does in a continuation of his story
Freek - 1/5/2014, 2:42 AM
Of course ya'll are gonna talk shit about it when most people here aren't into anything indie. The only comic book reviews here, infact are only Marvel and DC books. To hell with anything else, right?
NeoBaggins - 1/5/2014, 3:49 AM
Never had intentions on seeing this film. But had this kept playing, I would have watched it.

And the opening is merely a hardcore version of this:

loki668 - 1/5/2014, 3:50 AM
Sure. Yep. Of course "ya'll are going to talk shit" when you haven't taken the time to see that indie titles are covered here. Maybe not as much as "the big 2" are but they're still covered. If you're that concerned about it, why don't you review some for us?
Killersloth - 1/5/2014, 4:01 AM
Great fun movie, Vin is a badass. Hopefully we get a sequel
TheVirgin - 1/5/2014, 5:05 AM
Enjoyable flick. Definitely worth to buy your time.
jcfrommars9 - 1/5/2014, 5:30 AM
I love all the Riddick movies and video games. And as usual, the unrated version of this movie is much better than the theatrical one.
driver - 1/5/2014, 5:30 AM
It was good, old school R-rated sci-fi action. Will by trilogy when they release box-set.
driver - 1/5/2014, 5:31 AM
@jcfrommars9 Yeah, it was better and it included scenes from the script I read. Glad they didn't blow Vaako's face and he stayed alive. In script he actually died trying to save Riddick from Bald Faqer.
