STAR TREK 2: New Set Photos Featuring Spock; Chris Pine Says The Sequel Is "Relentless"
Speaking with Access Hollywood, actor Chris Pine discusses the upcoming sequel to the 2009 Star Trek reboot (in which he plays Capt. James T. Kirk). “Of course I’m gonna tell you I think it’s gonna be better,” he said. “You pick up the characters from where they left off, and the development of the characters — I think — is just as exciting as the first one. And it’s relentless. I think that’s the best adjective I can use.”
More set photos from JJ Abrams' highly anticipated follow up to his Star Trek reboot are now online, once again featuring Zachary Quinto as Spock. Additionally, Chris Pine (Captain James Kirk) says that filming is almost finished.
Additionally, he confirms that filming on the JJ Abrams-directed flick will be wrapped up soon. “We’re almost done,” he says. “It’s wrapping up very soon. It’s just as action-packed as the first one.”
