Two more still images from J.J. Abrams' Star Trek Into Darkness have found their way online via the sequel's official mobile app, featuring Capt. Kirk, Spock and John Harrison. Check them out after the jump.

In the wake of a shocking act of terror from within their own organization, the crew of The Enterprise is called back home to Earth. In defiance of regulations and with a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads his crew on a manhunt to capture an unstoppable force of destruction and bring those responsible to justice.

As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.

Many thanks to Trek Movie for the heads up.

Star Trek Into Darkness stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Benedict Cumberbatch, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, Alice Eve and Anton Yelchin. The film is set to hit theaters May 17th this year.

The pussy writers. Just couldn't tear themselves away from the strong gravitational force that is Khan and fandom pressure.

Pussies...had all the power to create something original but nah,...same cool aid at the water tower that is Hollywood, no longer having originality.
Newbus - 2/9/2013, 6:41 AM
Khan aint "an unstoppable force of destruction"! Unless he's turning into the Abomination judging by the second pic.
gambgel - 2/9/2013, 6:41 AM
the pics are getting repetitive and boring.
not liking the costumes at all, specially the yellow one.

What's going on with Sherlock's spine? Genetic enhancement? Or is his spine normally that bulgy?
Christuffer - 2/9/2013, 7:02 AM
Ever since this movie has been all over the main page, the magazines, and the trailers galore....I don't know, I feel like the excitement is losing steam. Plus, now that a lot of people are saying Khan for sure, I'm not so excited myself
RexDartEskimoSpy - 2/9/2013, 7:23 AM
SPOILER ALERT! Kirk and Spock share a scene together and Kirk meets the villain (whoever he really is) at some point!

I'm still hoping that Bumbershoot Cabbagepatch is playing a Eugenics Warlord, but not Khan. That would just be pathetic on the part of the writers. Not to mention he's the most Englishy actor on Earth. At least Montalban was brown-skinned.

'an epic chess game'.

One of my most anticipated for 2013...can't wait!
continuezero - 2/9/2013, 7:46 AM
Nerds have nothing better than to hate. Any real Trekkie is hyped as ph*k right now about this movie.

Still saying he's know how much they love rockin the Star Fleet Uni's..haha
Ocelot - 2/9/2013, 7:51 AM
@gambgel have to agree, same boring pics all the time
RexDartEskimoSpy - 2/9/2013, 8:00 AM
Ah, for the Golden Age of Hollywood, when the studios made actors with weird names change them, and pretend they weren't gay. (I'm looking at you, Archibald Leech.)
cyked - 2/9/2013, 8:11 AM
@continuezero I agree totally. You've got folks here who haven't even seen the movie who are dissing it, calling it unoriginal, blah blah blah. Fer cryin out loud, it's a movie based on the STAR TREK franchise. What, are you gonna complain that there's a starship Enterprise in the movie? Gonna complain if it fires 'phasers' or 'photon torpedoes'?

How bout this --- all you trolls complaining about how much you hate the thing.... DON'T GO SEE IT. Who wants to hear you bitch and whine all the time. Make yer own movie and see how original YOU can be. Seriously.

And all these trolls and haters know good and damned well that they're gonna fork over their hard earned money and go to the theater to see it anyway. So why not just sit back, relax, and enjoy the friggin movie. Pretty sure there are real grievances in your lives to bitch about.

I won't buy him being Khan until Abrams officially states it, or a the company officially announces it.
supermarioworldE - 2/9/2013, 8:50 AM
Is it just me or does Kirk's hair look more blonde than usual?
Paragon79 - 2/9/2013, 9:18 AM
^^The second pic is more blonde due to the lighting.

I'll just watch this to make me happy:

Here's hoping the gag reel is great.

Nice homage to the '60s OT, bathing them in the red flood light. Now, tilt the camera...

DARKTOWERGUNSLINGER: They have a big wardrobe in this movie, not only the ship uniforms, but cerimonial garb, astronaut helmet, skintight catsuit (for Uhura), volcano heat armor for Spock, etc
riseofloganX36 - 2/10/2013, 11:48 AM
this looks like compleat and utter garbage. This looks like the biggest peace of shit of 2013. It Rivels amazeing spider ass.

@darktowergunslinger What wardrobe in the 60s have you seen that?

@continuezero if your a nerd you pretty much are a trekkie, and that has nothing to do woth it. A real true star trek fan would hate this crap fest. Give me Picard or Kirk hell something with Ricker and deep space nine and voyeger. In sted of a prequill with teen enterprise bull shit.

And you know nothing about star trek other than what your mommy and daddy bought you on blue ray.

If you like this peace of shit then your no trekkie . So stop acting like you know anything when you know nothing.
