LucasFilm has recently given their website a fresh look and with that comes picture of a production meeting, with what appears to be some Episode VII concept art in the background. What is it that has caught everyone's eye? Hit the Jump!

LucasFilm's website has been given a new look recently, and a new picture of a meeting for Star Wars Episode VII can be found on the site. The picture shows JJ Abrams, Kathleen Kennedy, and others at a table discussing something presumably about the upcoming film. While it seems like nothing out of the ordinary, in the picture, one can see what appears to be some concept art hanging on the wall. Now it could end up being nothing, but does it (re)confirm the Millennium Falcon's return in Star Wars Episode VII? Here's the picture:

While this isn't much, it is interesting to get an "inside look" of the production and see that the Millennium Falcon in some concept art. What are your thoughts and hopes for the Millennium Falcon's use in Episode VII? Sound off below!

I don't think that's the Falcon. It looks more like a floating landing platform. If you look close, you can see what appears to be 4 turrents on it. The Falcon doesn't have those.

@ wookiefit76 - we gotta get you some glasses.
I noticed a tiny frame with Obi Wan in it.
One of the other frames seems to have someone
Using force lightning.

Would the Falcon still be an optimum mode of transport so much years later. It was already a "piece of junk" in the original trilogy. Got the stars out of a lot of sticky situations, but was still a piece of junk.

So is The Millenium Falcon going to be upgraded from a piece a junk to something more classy?
xBlaze96x - 2/14/2014, 9:19 PM
That is Count Dooku from Episode II. Those small images are from the other movies.

ahhmynuts - 2/14/2014, 10:04 PM
im just excited to see a fresh new look on star wars. abrams isnt the best story teller in hollywood but he can sure make em look good!
awwriter - 2/14/2014, 11:01 PM
Wookiefit76 - Uh, did to occur to you that Han and Chewie might have done some upgrades to the ship over the past 30 years since we last saw it? ;)

Actually that was what I was going to post - it clearly is the MF, and it does appear that it has had some modifications since ROTJ.

This is going to be an amazing movie - someone who actually loves Star Wars is making this trilogy, not someone who is perpetually dissatisfied with the OT and tries to distance themselves from it.

Darktruth - 2/15/2014, 12:26 AM
I agree with Grif so hard. Glad that its the first comment I see.
JediPhilosopher - 2/15/2014, 3:10 AM
Of course the Millenium Falcon will be in it.
WarmAndGushy - 2/15/2014, 5:21 AM
JJ turned Star Trek into something watch-able and I have faith he will turn Star Wars on the right path, the path of the Jedi.
batz11 - 2/15/2014, 6:19 AM
Never saw that movie, holy shit, crazy snatch-teeth, haha
DrunkenNukem - 2/15/2014, 6:47 AM
What happened to introducing new characters..new planets...new ships...new ideas?????

I want to see something new..

So much for star wars universe...same characters same ships..same desings
Facade - 2/15/2014, 7:49 AM
They're still gonna be flying around in the Falcon?! This and the droids being relevant 30+ years after Jedi is dumb as [frick]!
GUNSMITH - 2/15/2014, 7:50 AM
Wolf38 - 2/15/2014, 11:36 AM
The Falcon has been modified and upgraded before...it can be again. It's like your old car that you still drive, work on and love even though it's outdated. Maybe there will be some structural mods, or maybe it'll have a black paintjob.
Bartman87 - 2/15/2014, 7:44 PM
Why wouldn't they be flying around in the Falcon-people still drive 1960's and 70's cars. I want to see a little old, a little new and a whole lot of action. Screw the haters don't go see it nobody cares.
