Star Wars: Episode VII is on schedule to release in 3D and IMAX 3D in theaters on December 18, 2015.
Deadline reports that Daisy Ridley, the female lead cast for the upcoming movie Star Wars: Episode VII is already planned to reappear and star in its two sequels. Ridley will return for the tentatively titled Episode VIII and Episode IX, thus making her appear in the entire sequel trilogy.
Episode VIII and Episode IX have been set to be written and directed by Rian Johnson (Looper), who will be replacing the Episode VII director, J.J. Abrams.
Ridley must have really impressed the studio to already be confirmed for the sequels. She has also signed a contract to be repped by UTA.
Star Wars: Episode VII is set about 30 years after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, and will star a trio of new young leads along with some very familiar faces.
